Love this place - this was my third year visiting in the fall. My foodie/picky son said it is the best ice cream he's ever had, and I agree - it's made in a special way and is unique. There are countless treats and gift options for chocolate lovers. I ordered some as Christmas gifts last year and will do again - definitely one of my must-go places when in Vermont. I can't recommend the Chocolate Barn highly enough! We ordered a bunch of half gallons of ice cream for our wedding this summer and it was absolutely a highlight of our day. Each of the flavors was unlike anything store bought. The strawberry had REAL strawberries. The chocolate was so rich it turned vanilla lovers to the dark side. And the cookies and cream was criminal! And the owners are so sweet as well! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have been going here since I was a kid. Just re-visited after several years and so glad I did. It really brought me back and reminded me of so many memories with my family. Everything is delicious and reasonably priced. Unbelievable selection of chocolates, etc. You won't be disappointed! Ran into this great little chocolate shop while exploring Vermont. I mean who doesn't like chocolate or icecream. Definitely worth the stop. The shop smells so good and they have cute little gifts for purchase also. Plus a great selection of chocolate, fudge and icecream. If you're driving by stop on in you won't be disappointed!

The best chocolate and ice cream in Southern Vermont (best I've had anywhere). All made in house. The owners are great people and always welcome us with awesome service. Been coming here regularly for years now. Update a year later: Still coming here. Still loving it.

The service was quite rude but the chocolate is quite good. Don’t ask for chocolate ice cream because they’ll tell you they only have “mocha”

I know they have awesome homemade ice cream. I didn't have the best experience when my kids and I went this last time, so that's the only reason I gave it a 4. Worth the money and the drive if you're headed in this direction.
