The Bench offers a dining experience that promises stunning views of the majestic Monterey Bay and Pebble Beach. However, my recent visit left me torn between the enchanting ambiance and the underwhelming fare. Let's start with the positives. The outdoor seating area, overlooking the waters of the Monterey Bay, is nothing short of mesmerizing. The ambiance alone deserves high praise. Now on to the food. Despite the anticipation of a delicious meal, the reality fell short of expectations. I got the Charred Avocado salad, a seemingly simple yet satisfying choice but what arrived at my table was a disappointment. Don't let the looks deceive you. The salad pictured below was a beauty smothered in chunky grains of salt, overpowering all the freshness and flavor. Considering the hefty price tag of nearly $30, the lackluster quality of the salad left a sour taste in my mouth. If it weren't for the excessive saltiness and the exorbitant prices, I would have easily given The Bench a perfect 5/5 rating. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch

Beautiful views! Service is 5 star. Food is a little pricey, but you will get what you pay for. My party of 5 ordered different plates and we couldn't find one negative thing. Drinks were tasty and made with love. We sat on the inside near the window with a bay view. You are able to sit outside as well, but it was a little cold when we visited.
