Had a great meal despite covid restrictions. Staff were amazingly friendly and the food was good. Malva pudding is home made and delicious 😋. The restaurant /building is very rustic with a great history and lots of antiques to enjoy. My favorite was the old cash till and phones.

Very rural and different. Had a great meal plain and simple but very tasty. And a nice bottle of wine all for a very good price.

The Barn is an experience!! Yes, the entrance is that little funny door, but once inside the service was great and the food good. The steaks were really good! We will for sure visit The Barn again when we are in Caledon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We ate at a restaurant in Hermanus tonight silently wishing we could rather have the crispy chicken pepper sauce burgers from The Barn. Not to mention Jacques malva pudding which is a very special treat. See you again soon! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

From outside it doesn't look so appealing to eye, but once inside it is nice, cozy and gives you an amazing feeling of time travelling back to the good old times. The service is friendly and heart warming. The food is amazing and taste just like "ouma se kos van die plaas"!

Not knowing Caledon I reverted to Google maps for restaurants. The Barn was rated above 4 so I chose to go eat there. It's a family run business, the food is good with a very large and diverse menu for a relatively small establishment. Service was friendly and prompt and the suggestion from the large menu was good. Prices are reasonable. For something different by way of dining out it is well worth a try when in Caledon. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 100–150
