This was the exact type of bakery/cafe we were looking for!
Very small and unassuming cafe from the outside but the coffee was great, and the croissants were unreal! We chose them based off a recommendation from a local in line ahead of us when we couldn’t decide what to go for!

Beautiful little bakery with an amazing variety of bread & pastries and very friendly staff. As I couldn't decide what to get I had an apple pie slice with hot chocolate today and will go back tomorrow to try one of the rolls.
Update : the brie roll was very yummy and the almond croissant was just amazingly delicious - a must have if you love marzipan.

Food looks nice. Rolls little bit pricey & bread somewhat tough to bite. Worth trying however compared with other bakeries.

My most favorite bakery in town. I named this bakery is "Happiness Bakery". It's not only about trying many kinds of tasty pastries but also the taste of happy, joys and happiness that baker has put into them.

Everything about this place is 5 stars. The food, the coffee, the staff.
The baguettes were perfect - crunchy on the outside, doughy in the middle. And the cinnamon rolls are divine.
Also, the guy who made our coffees (forgot to ask his name) made the best oat lattes. Thank you!

We got a few different sweets. These were all tasty in their own way, nothing to sweet and over powering. The lemon tart was a fav!

Absolutely melt in your mouth delicious. On par with, if not better than, not only European bakeries but also top bakeries in other major food cities (San Francisco comes to mind) trying their best to recreate that authentic flavor/texture. Highly recommend even if just passing through Nelson as I was.

I hate to break it to whoever bakes here, but the croissants are just awful. They may look like the real deal, but upon first bite we encounter nothing light & fluffy, but instead flour & water *stodge*, with nothing to really *relish* at all.
Overall it's a very nice little place, tho!
