Have been to The 126 a couple of times now, and each time the service was top notch. The employees were friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I must say that this last time there, the cocktails were FANTASTIC! A good variety and the flavors were layered yet balanced and just killer. Best cocktails I’ve had in Burlington as of late. Oh and the music is great too ;0)

The 126 is an amazing spot in Burlington for craft cocktails, beer, and wine. They also offer a curated list of Non-alc cocktails so non-drinkers aren’t relegate to the typical soda water or a coke. The service is excellent and the owners, Emily and Karyn, are two of the nicest, funniest people around. Their bar catering services are absolutely top notch and I hire them as often as I am able to serve my high end wedding clientele. Service, selection, and communication are five star.

We decided to check this place out on a saturday night for a cocktail. We got in around 11:45 and there was a handful of people in there. We saw this cute red crushed velvet love seat and sat down, it was REALLY uncomfortable...we picked up a menu next to us and looked around for another seat we could move to and noticed a waitress approaching, she didn't say a word, not a hello or anything....instead she just placed a sign on the table next to us that said "order at bar" ... It was very impersonal, we felt like she could of easily said that to us, even while placing the sign. It didn't make us feel welcomed.
We moved locations to another spot and went to the left side of the bar to order...there was another sign... "order at rails".... so I moved to the rails on the right side of the bar and placed a drink order. Bartender acknowledged my order and several minutes later brought me one drink and said he didn't remember the 2nd drink. I ordered the martini again...it was not a good martini.
We all have off nights...we will try again another time, perhaps when there is some live music and hope to have a different experience.

Absolutely amazing bar! My wife and I have stopped in every time we've been in town. The absolutely best cocktail bar around! Creative menu with a near old fashion prohibition twist. Decor is awesome and staff is all super friendly!
