What an excellent restaurant. My wife and I, as we do, shared a sweet and sour chicken with boiled rice. It was the best meal we've had in the two weeks we've been in Sri Lanka. The dish was full of well cooked chicken. I think it was slightly battered and fried perhaps in a honey source. However it was done doesn't matter, as it was truly delicious with a nice mix of fresh vegetables. The white rice was steamed to perfection. To finish we shared a fruit salad of carefully diced fruit, banana, pineapple, mango, papay etc. All in all it was a fabulous meal. Great atmosphere. Frustrating service and food. We came at dinner. All 8 tables were full of people. No one had food. We went to get our own water from the cooler after waiting 20min. Friendly wait staff. Took our order. Kitchen very not organized. No table had food after we wait 1 hour. We paid the waiter some money and left with no food. We would have liked to try the food. Instead we ate street food next door from the chop chop guy veggie Kottu. Super good there. Btw, that’s my hungry wife photo waiting for food. Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
