28th October 2023 8:30pm , order number 80 , 2nd November 2023 8:02pm , order number 90 . Last two consecutive occasions of ordering the same dish , within the space of a week , (why you might ask , this is my weekly thing , the meal I always look forward to , the same meal tradition ) , specifically asking for Spicy Thai hot , meal takeaway , however once home the Meal was missing that special request , called the next morning to explain what happened and was told to pop into the shop and receive a meal , evening popping back into the restaurant the same day to explain the mishap to the owner and I was told I was being rude and to check my meal is correct before leaving the restaurant next time, was given a small punnet of diced chilli to put in my meal next time . Adding the chilli the next day isn’t the same as the infused flavor you get when cooked together . Not very good at receiving feed back let alone a customer complaint . The food is great when the order is correct . I’ll be back and hope to learn the fool proof way to order without the possibility of the order being incorrect , which I thought I had done on the last occasion . I had a fantastic experience at Thai House Eatery in New Plymouth. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide range of options to choose from. The prices were also very reasonable, which was a nice surprise. In addition to the great food, the staff at Thai House were extremely friendly and helpful. They made sure our experience was top-notch and our food came out quickly, which is always appreciated when you're hungry. Overall, I highly recommend Thai House Eatery. Whether you're a fan of Thai food or just looking for a tasty and affordable meal, this is the place to go. Great place, food was delicious and onky took 10 mins to come to our table. Fresh veges, lots of flavour amd good amoubt of chicke. in both dishes. We also had chicken satay amd stuffed mushrooms alongside Pad thai amd red curry- all great. Friendly staff, nice modern, clean decor. We will come hwre again when we are back in New Plymouth. We have been eating eating here for many years. When it was Thai House Express, I preferred the decor, the service and some of the dishes that have been deleted. My fave was Chicken Curry Powder. We either eat in or get takeaways at least twice a month. We were such regulars that we were on good terms with the owner. However, today, I was annoyed. After our party spent $107 for our meal, we asked for some leftovers to take away. The waitress demanded .50 cents for a plastic container. Of course, it is not the money that annoys me, it is the complete lack of understanding of customer expectations. I have never encountered this charge anywhere. They have jeopardised our annual spend with them of $2,000 - $3,000 for the sake of .50 cents. If you think I am being petty, do you not think the pettiness was initiated by this establishment. Such beautiful energy. Spacious and the fengshui is perfect. The food was very filling and delicious. They have a self serve water cart which is wise to have for those who drink alot of water. I walked out very full. Recommend, recommend.

Great find for our family of 5. Awesome food, good portion at affordable prices. Both takeaway and dining in experiences were pleasant. Liked it so much that we went back several times on our 5 day trip. Our favorites are penang curry, spring rolls, fried yellow noodles, roti and crispy pork and BBQ pork rice.
