TLDR: The slow service and bad attitude of the chefs really left a sour taste for our party. Even if the food was decent it was absolutely not worth the experience and time. Highly recommend folks take their business seriously elsewhere.
Came here excited to try some traditional pad thai and noodle dishes given its reputation but was really disappointed after having a bad experience with the store clerks.
The restaurant was packed when we got there so we had to wait a bit before sitting but had already put in our order with the staff/kitchen. After about 15min or so we finally got a seat, but waited another 25-30min and still no food in sight. We had to ask them a few times if the food is coming, and was brushed off with staff saying it’s coming. After seeing a few tables who came later than us all get their food first before us, we went to ask the kitchen about the food and why other tables got their food first despite getting there much later than us. We were met with arrogant attitude saying “if you can’t wait for the food you can leave” after we’ve already waited for over 45min for food which was absolutely unprofessional. They then argued that it’s because we ordered 1 of each item vs multiple of the same item, etc. when we clearly ordered multiples of each item before they told us one of the dishes ran out.
Overall the staffs were rude and arrogant, and they didn’t see a problem that their customers were waiting for a long time for a food. They think that if customers want to eat then they deserve to wait. Seems something in their system isn’t working and their operations are not efficient and all over the place.

There is a third-generation heir running a Pad Thai restaurant. Their version of the stir-fried noodle dish is distinct from Bangkok's, as it comprises only noodles, bean sprouts, and meat and is topped with shredded cabbage. Locals suggest avoiding midday and weekends due to the bustling crowds. For a more relaxed experience, it's best to visit on weekday mornings or afternoons.

3.5 ⭐ Didn't have a clue where I was (head down in the van sending emails 😅), a good colleague was in charge haa haa haa. Quick Pad Thai and Noodles specialist 😁 (Thai QSR 😊).
FOOD: good, nothing to complaint, haa haa haa. Of course menu is very focused, easy to order 😁. 7/10.
SERVICE: we came at the peak of lunch madness (full to the brim), the man (probably owner) was very polite and efficient. Waited around an hour (only 1 cook, haa haa haa) 😅😅😅 7/10.
FACILITY: like it a lot, nice to see a well maintained and loved traditional local eatery. Wooden chairs and tables, good toilet, good house keeping too 😁. 8/10
PRICE: acceptable 👍 8/10.

The Pad Thai noodle portion is too little as I visited during my vacation in March 2023.
I ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and it came with 3 shrimps. The shrimps were fresh and nice. However, I found it too sweet that I had to squeeze in lime juice. I would not recommend Pad Thai for those who have diabetes.
In terms of service, food delivery was rather slow as I was there for lunch on Tuesday and the tables were all occupied, plus there was only 1 cook per shift.

The Pad Thai is marvellous.
It is sort of a hidden gem known to the locals.
The only thing you have to be cautious about when you are there is that the owner is extremely fussy with outside snacks (even from the next door or surrounding dessert stalls) eaten in their shop.

I went on a week-end and there was a tour group having lunch. I managed to share a table with another couple. Waited almost an hour for my Padthai which was quite tasty and at Bht.65 was worth the price.
My brother and his family went on a week day and his family was the only customer there.
Never go there at lunch time on a week-end unless you enjoy waiting for food.

They are famous for pad thai but others on the menu are surprisingly good. Their portion are too small and not filling. The price was as expected for a restaurant that popularized by tourists. We ordered pad-kee-mao with seafood, dumpling soup and also pad-thai with seafood which are delicious.
