Due to a number of circumstances I have visited TGI in the UK and US both in the same week. I had expected the US version to be a louder more vibrant experience but quickly realised that economics don't work this way. The TGI in Bloomington has a feel of a place who's heyday is long since past. The variation in menu is stark, the new York strip steak I ate in both places had an over priced feel about it in the US. With sauces limited to BBQ or spicy I missed peppercorn which I had assumed was a stock steak addition. The place itself was large with few visitors and staff, some of which were out of uniform. Service was fine, attentive when needed. Unlike the UK I was seated in a quiet booth away from the bar, where others congregated and I appreciated this as dining alone. 1. Almost 1 hour to be seated after being told 10 min, same guy came back and asked us if we been helped huh u told me 10 min😠 strike 1. 2. After being seated then we realized plenty of tables had not been cleaned 😠 strike 2. 3. We should have gave up on them only thing they made sure they brought out were drinks we felt like we had to wait because we already started running a tab I know where not to bring my family 😡 Also there was no need to respond offering a refund not needed or asking for names in sure you guys know exactly which store it is Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

this visit was AWESOME. Wait staff AWESOME as usual ! Steak just incredible - 2 meals for me......The only thing I would change is when a birthday reward appears in your email, and it somehow gets lost, not even showing in your trash! and customer service cannot do anything to help you.....I just find that absolutely ridiculous !!! They could provide you with a code for your free dessert or load something. Oh well - my birthday treat, and meal for the 3 of us will be spent somewhere else !!! Was not busy at all. The bartender was our waiter. The drinks and appetizers were the best part of the meal. I wanted the sizzling chicken and shrimp. Got the sizzling chicken which was 3 chicken breasts on top of peppers and cheese sauce. My husband got the fish and chips and his fish was so great that he went through a napkin per filet to get grease off. I ordered a Caesar salad online, it turned out to be $16 with the grilled chicken added on. It took 45 minutes for my salad to be complete. Before I left I took a look at my food and right away I could smell the charred burnt chicken. It was too little of a chicken breast for my salad. I sat at the bar scrapping the chard chicken. The bartender/waiter watched me scrape away. I would’ve asked for it to be recooked but I didn’t want to wait another 45 minutes. *side note: This location needs more staff during the day. Delicious !! Today's Whiskey Steak with mashed potatoes very tasty I had a house salad not the broccoli. Lol had to go to a meeting otherwise the broccoli 🥦 is tasty. I got takeout 5 days ago and received the wrong food for a family of 5. Spent $100 on dinner to get the wrong thing and the food we did receive was too cold to eat. Called the restaurant to let them know, no one answers the phone. It rings until it hangs up on you. I called the night I got my food and I've called every day since. No answer. Saw on a couple of other low star reviews that there is a form to fill out. Filled it out and hit submit just for it to spin and give an error message multiple times "There was an error trying to send your message. Please try again later". Very disappointed in the lack of service received. Update: filled out the form and no call or email! Lol...can't make this up! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
