We recently dined at Texas Road House during a road trip from Florida. Although I had high hopes for a delicious meal, I left the restaurant feeling frustrated and disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a friendly server who assured us that we could take our time to order. However, just a few minutes after placing our order, the server returned to inform us that they were out of rice and another item I can't recall. We adjusted our order and patiently waited, only to be told again, after another 10 minutes, that they were out of the adjusted item as well. This pattern continued, with different staff members approaching our table to inform us of more unavailable menu items. While I understand that running out of certain dishes can happen, I was truly frustrated by the lack of communication from the restaurant. It would have been helpful if they had informed us about the limited availability of menu items from the beginning. This would have allowed us to make an informed decision and possibly choose alternative options. Despite the inconvenience, we decided to make do with the limited choices available. However, the overall experience was tainted by the repeated disappointment of not being able to order the items we initially wanted. I appreciate the efforts of the staff in trying to accommodate us, but I believe it is essential for the restaurant to improve their communication regarding menu availability. It would have saved us time and prevented unnecessary frustration. While I may give Texas Road House another chance in the future, I hope that they take this feedback constructively and make the necessary improvements to enhance the dining experience for their customers. We got here about 5 minutes before opening on a Sunday, and there was already a line waiting to get in. When we got to the greeter, she said it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. So we sat at the bar where our server was Trent, and he was awesome. Very pleasant, young man. The food was delicious. Best experience we've had there. Tonight was my birthday dinner with my mom and sister. I had the ribeye, loaded potato, and side salad with honey mustard dressing, the Jamaican Cowboy cocktail, and water. It was all great. The only complaint would be that my steak was more medium well to well done, instead of medium (not runny). The cocktail was delicious. The rolls were great as usual. I had a great time. This Texas Roadhouse is an excellent restaurant. Even though this location was very busy, they took care of us like we were the only customers in the building. The food was amazing. Wait was 20 min which is very acceptable food came in an acceptable period of time and our waiter was awesome. The food was a different story. My half rack was extremely dry and was far from “fall off the bone”. And lacked any sauce My wife’s steak was very rare she had ordered medium.we both enjoyed the mashed potatoes and rolls . Katie was our waitress, and she was very attentive. The Cactus Blossom is always very good. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp over rice, with a House Salad and Loaded Baked Potato. The homemade Italian Dressing was delicious. The food was very good as well. My drink choice was the Jamaican Cowboy with an 1800 Kicker. Celebration My Beautiful Daughter 18th Birthday 🎂, she wanted to have some good delicious Stake 😋. So I took her to one of my favorite Stake House. I told the waiters that we are celebrating a birthday today. The food was delicious. The stake was cooked to perfection. We had an amazing time we ate, we sing and we had fun. My mac and cheese was dry. They gave me salmon I tried it with out lemon didn’t have the best taste then I tried it with lemon same taste. I had some corn really good. The waiter had a little attitude and kept skipping over us .about three family’s got their food before us. Forgot my half gallon of lemonade and had to turn around. Later realized after being 30 minutes away my rice was missing as well as the extra sides I paid for with my steak. No one answers the phone and the window process for to go orders doesn't work because workers weren't paying attention even when you're knocking on the window. Ribs were dry. Steak was decent. Wanted a peaceful dinner with my significant other and got exactly the opposite. Waitress rushed us to place our orders, coming back to our table repeatedly after we told her we weren't in a hurry to order. The onion we ordered for an appetizer wasn't done, the steak was completely flavorless, and the sides were just ok, we could have cooked better steaks at home. The atmosphere was very loud even with lots of empty seats. In our hour and a half of being there, they had at least 5 birthdays which became completely annoying after the first two.
