So, I'm reading some of the reviews for this place, and they are mostly mixed. That might be what it's almost six in the evening and the place is empty....? Dunno, maybe it's just in an odd location and the map takes you to the back entrance... Any way, my husband and I had a decent meal. He ordered a Brisket plate, with Cole Slaw and French frys. I ordered a Pulled Pork plate with Mac N Cheese, and Spicy Green Beans.
My experience with the staff was decent, and they brought out our plates promptly. I've had better seasoned pulled pork, but it was still pretty good. The Spicy Green Beans, where exelent, and the Mac N Cheese was nice and thick.
My husband's plate was alright, the fry's where good, but the slaw was not great, he said it had no flavor, but the brisket was nice, he liked it because of the flavor and that it had some fat to it.
I spent 17$ on each of us.
15.99$ for each meat plate
2.99$ for each soda.
So for 37.86$ I think it was a bit over priced. But overall I would come back, but I wouldn't get the plate, or a drink.

this place definitely SMELLS better than it tastes. I spent an overall total of $70 just for most of it to go to the trash. The food is extremely overpriced for the quality and this is definitely not a place for MY PEOPLE if y’all catching my drift. The chicken tasted completely unseasoned. Mac and cheese was very watery as well. The brisket was okay, and the baked beans were pretty decent too. The banana pudding was also a good 6/10 but the best thing I received from this location was the frozen drink. Im unsure of if the cook was absent or it was just simply a bad day for the kitchen but I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I ordered through Uber eats, the loaded baked potato was absolutely disgusting, I also got a 2 meat plate (sausage and ribs with Mac and cheese for both sides) the Mac and cheese was gross it had no flavor and it was very sticky feeling while in your mouth and I didn’t like that either. This places food should not even be called BBQ because of it is this is the hands down worst tasting BBQ I’ve ever had. Also is was definitely overpriced for the quality of the food.
And this review is coming from a White Texas born woman who knows how to season food properly. Please do better!!

I got the twice baked potato with bbq pork. The mild sauce is ok but thin. The twice baked potato was bland -meh -with bacon bits, not real bacon. Employees very nice. Food ready quickly. Better than fast food but barely.

I really wanted to like this place with it being so close. Especially after so many good reviews. But we received poor customer service and poor quality food. Brisket shouldn’t be gray, mashed potatoes were hard.

My husband and I popped in one day at lunch. Between 12 & 1pm and we were the only two people in the restaurant... for the duration of our 30 - 45 min stay. This place was clean, nicely decorated in western style. The lady who took our order was fine. We ordered and were shocked of the prices. $45 for two sandwiches, side of okra, side of small fries, and two small drinks. But, wanting to support local restaurants we paid and sat. The chairs are metal and too small for anyone's hind end. We both ordered The Casper. My hubby ordered fries and I got the okra. When the lady brought us our food, it looked delicious. Served on a very small metal tray, it smelled wonderful. This is the worst sandwich to try and eat on a very small metal tray. It was a mess!!! The mac and cheese oozed out in every direction and there wasn't anywhere for it to go except on the table! 🙄 It gave us a chance to look through the sandwich to notice the brisket wasn't hot, wasn't warm, it was room temperature. The buns were straight out of the package & hard. Not heated or buttered (or maybe toasted) as seen on their website. We were just glad we didn't get sick and we won't be back. We watched many people walk by and no one else came in. They all walked to other establishments. That's not good for any restaurant. Two patrons in a hour won't pay the rent. Good luck.

After church, I had been craving a sliced beef sandwich with Potato Salad. I was headed home, and decided to stop here. I am Super, Uber glad I did. This place is very, very nice and clean inside. TV's to watch every different Sports 🥰Major win there. The Food was DELICIOUS !! OMG! You have got to try this place. There were other people there, atmosphere friendly, and did I mention the Food? Get over there as soon as you can. I was not disappointed at all.. Texas Pit Stop, I will be back next Sunday, after church 🥰🥰❤❤
