We recently had some new friends move to town and introduce us to Taska. For two weeks, they've been telling us the best food in town is at Taska, and we finally tried it. They were 100% correct! Taska has an AMAZING chef that creates delicious dishes! He has brought such a wonderful variety and quality to our small town. Only the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used. I highly recommend the salmon tartar and guacamole as an appetizer, and the slow cooked pork cheeks were mouth watering. The chef is the owner, and he is really friendly and welcoming. It is a bit pricier than other restaurants in town, but it's worth a few extra Euros for the culinary experience and delicious food. 5 out of 5 stars! Just popped in for coffee and a beer . Lovely place to sit - sheltered from the wind and in the sun ( there is shade if you want it) only €2.20 !! We came back for toasties - which were amazing . Highly recommended. Came back for a burger - delicious. We’ve been here a lot - terrific service and value . The young ladies running it are extremely pleasant and efficient. Best cafe we’ve visited in our two week stay - based at Monte Gordo - visited Tavira as well . Great place to sit and watch the world go by .

Small very good restaurant. Try the Portugese chorizo; flambe with Brandy. And the salmon with potatoes were good as well. Chosen wines were excellent and a beirao as finisher. Very friendly and peaceful place. Honest food, fresh made in the place, live on the terrace, using the green egg. So lovely to visit! So lovely to taste. So lovely you cannot miss 😉 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
