A small but good taco spot in the Tomball area. Lots of authentic options and the cuts of meat are pretty good for the price. I do wish the portions were a bit bigger, but it’s the best taco place near historic downtown Tomball. They also didn’t have a few of the meat options we wanted when we came in. There’s a decent amount of indoor seating, located next to a gas station. Overall not a bad place if you’re looking for authentic Mexican tacos and are in the area. Definitely a hike in the wall place. Very authentic and simple to the point. We ordered a machete, a Vilchis torta and a quesadilla plate. Everything was very good and salsas were delicious which is always a good sign. They accept card and cash for pay options. Very cozy inside be prepared for a small are with maybe 9 total tables. Absolutely fantastic food for super reasonable prices. They’ll custom make anything you like that they have and I didn’t really want any bread/rice/potatoes so they made it exactly the way I asked. The others had their sandwiches and everything was super filling. Will be a repeat customer here, 100%!

I come here couple of times a week to get my breakfast fix. Ive tried hundreds of taquerias in my time. This is top 3 places to eat breakfast. I haven't tried there lunch, but if its close to breakfast its good to. The food here is good. I order to go about once or twice a month. My review is how gloves are used when it comes to food. I witnessed sitting outside my car waiting on my food with the same gloves the girls fixing their hair, grabbing their car keys & going outside, handling the register counter & gloves were never changed. First time here to try something new and I’m very happy. Service is great. Food is simple, authentic and tasty. I’m so glad this isn’t another texmex place. This is the kinda food you’d get at home (speaking as a Hispanic). I got the quesadilla/w chorizo, rice & beans and my husband got the carne asada, rice & beans w/tortillas. Get a load of the size of the carne asada! He was happy. Also the hibiscus tea was perfect.

I come every week and lately the food has been horrible. The tortilla are to thick, onions are old and the meat does not taste like it use to, it taste like it been sitting for days. The salsa as well is cold and doesn't tatse the same. Everything is cold now and does not taste fresh like it use to. Very VERY disappointing. Excellent authentic Mexican food, from the desserts, tacos, and plates. The employees are very friendly and very helpful. I recommend the Barcbcoa Machete Corn Quesadilla or in tacos.
