Hands down best service I have ever experienced! Even though we did not speak any common language, communication was flawless. The owner managed to explain each dish, make recommendations, warn us that the portions are big and not let us order way too much (and she was absolutely correct!). Extremely attentive, making sure that we had all we needed and that everything was to our liking. The food was lovely, simple and very tasty, with great balance of flavours. And as a parting gift, we received homemade sauce and a shot of digestive. I have never smiled so much during a meal, if I could, I would apply to be adopted to the family on the spot.
Highlights here are the traditional Alentejano tomato soup and the Sericaia pudding, both delicious. The star of the show is the dona, who is such a sweet lady and couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely to see such places are appreciated in the reviews, here.

After the lockdown, we decided to spent a week in total stress free lockdown nature of Northern Alentejo at Parque Natural São Mamede! We found this amazing restaurant doing beautiful local regional food under takeaway!
The food was absolutely gorgeous and guess what the price is not very dear! A must go!
