Seafood platter, I was craving a platter since I got here and this was my chance to order it. My appreciation has increased with regard to port cities or countries, as they have the ability to order fresh seafood. You can taste the freshness of the seafood. Long story short it was a good meal. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I appreciated the staff showing me the raw fish they had just suggested me. Taste was good as well. Good coffee!! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Near the The Solange, Tango is primarily a weekend nightclub / live music / boozing establishment. With a bit of perhaps unintended irony, it is also one of the few places in Beira that serves breakfast. If you go in the morning be prepared for hungover staff cleaning up the debris of the previous night around you while you eat, and beer suppliers wheeling in cases of Heineken. The menu is the standard array of different kinds of meat dishes, “toasts” (grilled or toasted sandwiches), pasta. Breakfast options are mostly toasts and eggs one or two ways (I have only ever eaten breakfast there). Coffee options are poor. Only black or “galão” (thick milk coffee). On the other hand, there is lots and lots of alcohol. And if you need a shot of whiskey in that coffee or a shot of rum in that juice to go with breakfast, the staff at Tango will very cheerfully hook you up. Communication can be a challenge at Tango if you don’t know Portuguese. Lately, though, they’ve brought on a few Zimbabwean wait staff who are good at English. Two negatives about Tango: Speed of service is VERY slow; more than the usual amount of flies everywhere.

Nope can't recommend O Tango. The kitchen made an error with our order, and added ingredients not requested. Due to an allergy one dish had to be returned and remade. The issue arose when the bill was presented. We were charged for the returned dish, even though the error was made by the kitchen, and they were adamant that it had to be paid for. Nope, I would not recommend O Tango, and we will definitely not return

Do not eat here. The waiter had no idea what he was doing. I asked for a cheese omelette with an addition of tomatoes and onions in the omelette. He brought me a fish omelette, with a side salad of tomatoes and onions. The issue wasn’t even the language because I was with my local friend. I had a bad experience 🤷🏻‍♂️
