One of the cluster of restaurants in the area of the Mgarr Parish Church, it is a small restaurant featuring a limited menu of mainly Maltese dishes including horse meat, snails and fried rabbit in garlic. The food is quite good but handling the Friday night crowd was challenging and we waited for a long time for the food. Other than that it was a pleasant experience. Correct and traditional dishes it is a must in Malta I fully recommend, in my opinion it is underrated, just keep in mind that you’ll need to reserve it a couple of days before and the portions are gigantic 🫣 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is the place to experience authentic Maltese cuisine. Atmosphere: The place has a pub like character so don’t expect anything fancy. However, tables and restaurant were clean. Food: The best rabbit dish ever! The rabbit cooked in wine and garlic was fantastic. We also enjoyed dipping the bread in the sauce as this was really tasty. To welcome you in the restaurant, you also receive a traditional Maltese appetiser which is really delicious. Price: €15 pp for a portion of rabbit, fries and bread. Overall, we really enjoyed the visit and would recommend this place to anyone who would like to try the traditional Maltese rabbit! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Garlic Fried Rabbit

A great ace for fried rabbit and snails, that is what I go for so I don't know what else they served. The young servers are so good and accommodating, the owner always had a big smile and hello for customers. When we visit Malta it is a must visit as much as possible for us. I would suggest making a reservation to avoid disappointment. You will not be disappointed. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Snails Escargots Schnecken
Great food (we had three starters: snails, quails, chicken wings, all hot and delicious) and three desserts, also nice. Friendly service, mainly local guests. Original food and atmosphere. Only drawback: loud TV with music videos (MTV of the nineties) that didn't quite fit the surrounding, and kept us from being able to have a conversation... Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
if you want to taste Malta's unique cuisine, this is the place to be! we tried the snails and fried garlic mushrooms for starters, and had the famous fenek moqli for main course. it was really delicious and showed us the exciting culture of Malta with its many influences on another sensory level. the service was very friendly and the atmosphere very homely. this restaurant is highly recommended for a culinary authentic Malta experience.

Small, but a very nice place. Friendly staff. I ordered spaghetti with chicken, sun-dried tomatoes and cream as a "starter", it was large and really good. They even gave us a small appetizer for free which was also really good. As main plate, I ordered the chicken breast with mushrooms and cream, it comes with french fries and is really generous. Unfortunately the french fries were disappointing. The sauce that comes with the chicken wasn't very special. Nevertheless I recommend this restaurant.

Small family restaurant, in clearly a non-touristic quiet town, and with very nice local (Maltese) food. Specialties are rabbit and snails. This place was really a gem, where the food is typical, freshly prepared and the portions are really generous (too big in some dishes, to be honest 😉), so he aware of that when ordering starters and mains, you may not need to order 1 dish per person. The menu is small, but that just guarantees that the food is freshly prepared. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Prices are really affordable, even if the portions were not as big. A place definitely I'd recommend everyone to go when visiting Malta.
