Very friendly service and great food. Chips and salsa is good. The salsa is homemade. The chicken burrito is very very good. Large portions of food and good prices. We’ve been told to come here forever, so we are glad we finally did. Excited to try more of their food in the future.

I’m not fond of giving low ratings but we had a couple issues. - My wife went in and ordered. It was just before lunch, so we can fully understand it might take a bit to get our food. She ended up standing at the counter for a half hour. People were coming in 10-15 minutes after her, ordering, and getting their food before we even saw ours. It’s almost as if they forgot. - The food was wildly inconsistent. The asada itself was great. The beans tasted good. However, the tacos were a mess. I had one taco that did not have any asada, and just a pile of cilantro. I had one that was completely normal. I had one that had only asada on it. The food was hot as one would expect, except the beans were ice cold. I don’t mean cooled down, I mean it was like they were in the fridge. - While I was eating my beans, I felt something in my mouth. I assumed it was a hair and pulled it out. It was a small circle of plastic. It looked like wrapping that would be around something like a sauce bottle. I’ve included a picture of it. We’ve been to multiple locations and had great food and service. This location, absolutely not. We’ll still go to the others, but we’ll be avoiding the one in Jenison, especially after finding plastic in the food. Food is excellent. Large portions at a fair price. Would have given it 5 stars except the waitress wasn't experienced. Didn't give us straws with our drinks, had to ask numerous times for limes, or refills. My pet peeve is to ask for refills and never receiving them. at this place you won't have that problem..do too the 40 oz cups you receive👍 Highly recommended chicken tacos Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

🌮 the best local 🌮 in town. Authentic and full of flavor. If I’m hungry, I make a stop here and they never let me down. The service can be hit or miss, but the food is always fresh, hot, and flavorful 😛

This is my family's favorite taco spot, along with the location on bridge. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the consistency is all over the place. Sometimes the asada is a little dry, so I started getting pastor, which has been seasoned inconsistently from one visit to the next, it's been good nearly every time though. I don't think I've ever been disappointed with anything here, but I also can't say it's the best I've ever had... service has always been quick and friendly. The cook who likes to sing loudly also likes to loudly make fun of all the white people and anyone who comes in giving nicknames making jokes laughing immaturely. Some of us gringas habla español.... I won't be buying food from disrespectful people 😒 and I suggest anyone else who doesn't want to pay to be bullied doesn't either. Especially when you order vegetarian and find meat in your food or they put sour creme on it you didn't want then the cashier girl wants to make a face and act brand new like she didn't hear you so she can show off in front of the f -boy cook mocking everyone who walks in the door. He called me a jalapeño for my green coat and he made fun of a old white man in a snake skin jacket with the other male worker. I suggest you get new employees and turn the music down so you can hear orders and stop being jerks to paying customers who keep you employed. I feel sorry that these reviewers that have obviously never had good fast food Mexican food. I lived in the Southwestern US for decades and this, folks, is not authentically good Mexican food. It's edible and not terrible, I'll give you that but at the same time, I've been several times hoping it would be better and it just didn't get any better, the carne asada for example, chopped so tiny it's indistinguishable from any other meat. To the cooks: you need texture, and bite so you know what you're eating and flavor would be a good thing! The gristly meat, a serious lack of flavor and where's the jalapeno escabeche? Had a great experience dining in last night! The staff were all very friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We loved that the staff was singing along with the music that was playing! 10 out of 10 for sure!
