Authentic Portuguese grelhada. Fantastic quality pork and beef. Don’t worry about a menu, just let them serve you….not a great place for veggies…sorry. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €25–30

If you get the opportunity to dine here then seize it with both hands. The menu is uncomplicated and presents a series of grilled meat dishes. It was quite simply the best steak we have ever eaten. All served by incredibly friendly staff under the watchful and paternal eyes of the Chef. Taberna do Manelvina fully deserves all its five star reviews and more than lives up to its outstanding reputation. Don’t look at the menu. Have a seat and order a drink. You’ll get fries, dressed sliced tomatoes, and bread, then the incredible staff (who know English) will guide you through all you can eat of the most delicious, perfectly grilled meats. This spot is a gem and a must-have! Everything about your experience will be so authentic. The owner is a friendly man and is always at the grill, greeting his regulars walking by to say hello (speaks volumes!). The directions take you through smaller towns with such beautiful authentic housing and incredible views of landscapes. This is truly a hidden treasure.

A great place for meat lovers. A great selection of different cuts. Don't ask for the menu just letbthe staff guide you through the best dishes in the house. The viel fillet is a great end note to the experience. In the end you have a very small bill just makes this place one of the best in Portugal. One of my favourites.

Mist try Meat Restaurent, best ever, Amazing staff with a local feeling and lokal Meat dishes! Great wine selection , sangria and spirits! Off the beaten path and hard to find but well worth the trip and adventure into the farm area way away from tourist sites and resorts! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A non pretentious space where Alfredo prepare some of the best pig cuts and Bull steak, during summer they also have sardines, and codfish. Tried their mixed grill, it was good but a bit overpriced. However would go back to try the a la carte Toro steaks or veal steak. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
