Came here for afternoon tea. It is lovely place with good ambient to chat with friends over a pot of tea. Foods are nice stuff are friendly and price are also fair! Beautiful place overlooking the Mekong, I had the cheese board and cold cuts board they were both fantastic but I’m pretty sure one of the meats was raw bacon. Lovely atmosphere with chill music, Boards plus chicken and chips plus service charge and 4 drinks came to £30 It’s definitely worth it! This restaurant is I can say the best in Luangprabang .Price is very reasonable , nice atmostphere , quiet /relax.Staff are very polite.Very unique and very very good food/menu. 2 seating areas: one inside.the building and another, a river view terrace. I got mainly dragged in by the dessert list. I was actually already full upon arrival. I couldn't resist one of Lao starters. The broth and noodles were light and flavoursome. Well above street food level. The desert was was a Lao dish. Very unique andnweird haha. It looked like cabbage, but it was a velvet like pudding soaked in coconut milk..Portions were big. Friendly service. Price on the higher end, but worth it given the flavours and finish. Wow! This is a beautiful restaurant and bar on the Mekong River. The food is absolutely delicious. I really recommend the buffalo stew. The environment is perfect; very comfortable and wonderful views. I went for lunch so I didn't go to the upstairs bar across the road, but I understand that is also very nice with the wings of a real T56 plane acting as shelves for the liquor. We had dinner on the 1st floor and had cocktails on the 2nd floor. Meals range from 100,000 to 200,000 lak including tax and service, and cocktails range from 100,000 to 150,000 lak. The atmosphere is good, but the staff is busy during busy evenings, so the service is slow to respond to guests' requests. I was drinking a cocktail on the 2nd floor, and I felt the vibration because it was a wooden floor, and I was surprised to hear the sound of a small animal running around on the ceiling.

4 me - one of the best places in Luang Prabang. In the morning you can select your favorite from the breakfast menu and watching the Mekong river scenery, in the night enjoy a delicious cocktail at the bar upstairs. It is really good and the ambient is fantastic. The name T56 comes from a RR aircraft engine. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
