Bar man was extremely rude. Such a shame for such a beautiful small town tainted by this establishment. Bar man made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. He over charged us by $30 and was then annoyed when we asked him to remedy it. Wont be going back. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Very reasonable. Helpful and engaging staff. Our fish and chip lunch meal well proportioned and priced at $12. Enjoyed the drinks that we had with it.

Laughably, the worst bar/grill ever! Gin and tonic....only one bottle if tonic in the place and it was flat. Served anyway. Full price. 3 topping Pizza came out wrong twice. Fussed at once by him, and then by the woman. Finally, 3rd try, they pulled off wrong topping and put correct one on cold. Mediocre is a generous decription. Terrible nachos. Finally just laughed it off and went for dessert elsewhere.

This place is a hidden gem. Old school pub vibe which is hard to find these days. Toddler friendly as well which is a huge bonus. A great place to have a few beers.

Great experience. Very relaxing and friendly vibe. Everyone was chatty and welcoming, and had good yarns. Pizza was yum and arrived quickly, and what they had on tap did the trick nicely. 10/10 would visit again

Absolutely awesome place! Fantastic jokes great people and fantastic hospitality, we stumbled across this wee gem on our honeymoon and ended going back there the next night aswell. Dean and Shaz run a fantastic down to earth, true blue kiwi experience pub and we highly recommend it.wouhighlyrecommendanyonehigthat wants

Great experience here tonight. Turned up late after the kitchen was shut but the owner got things running so our family could have fish n chips. Even pulled out a toy helicopter which made the night for the kids! Beautiful fish and great service! Thanks again.

Staff lovely but we went there for dinner and it was the smallest size food I have had we went away hungry and it wasn't cheap. My son couldn't eat his food as there was far too much salt on it. (Could see the salt on it) Unfortunately I don't recommend this place.
