Service was fast, portions were large. Highlight dishes were pad Thai, general tsos chicken, and the caterpillar roll. This is a great place for sushi if you are looking for larger portions. It is not the most high quality sushi but was still very good! Everyone was very kind. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
I LOVE sushi house! I was so nervous a few years back when the put a random sushi joint on Trent for some reason but oh my gosh. They are always busy when I come which of course is green flags all around. Staff is always super nice and attentive and acknowledge and seat you quickly. They food is sooooo good too. It is so fresh and relatively reasonably priced for what it is. This time we got the fried calamari which itself was, as the kids now say, Bussin. I didn’t like the super spicy green sauce though. It was weird. The rolls were amazing, as usual, though and held together nicely. I think we got the dragon, caterpillar and scorpion but i could be wrong. The scorpion had fried softshell crab in it 🤤🤤🤤 and the eel in the caterpillar 🫶🏻🫶🏻 Absolutely phenomenal! At entrance we were greeted and were asked what dining experience we would like either to be seated at a table or booth. We chose to be seated at a booth. The environment was clean and the atmosphere was really quiet. The hostess was pleasant and kept checking in to ensure we were doing well. The service time was actually pretty fast. It did not take long to receive our appetizers, nor did it take long to be served our entrees. The egg plant soup was hot and soothing to my throat. (I was not sick or anything, but it just hit nicely going down - for lack of better words, haha). The chicken wings were glazed over nicely and with a nice crunch. The sushi rolls just melts in your mouth. The sweet and sour chicken entree was also very tasty. Everything was flavorable, so definitely seasoned & cooked well and appealed to my taste buds. Just simply came across this place trying to have a little quick lunch date with my honey and would make a return visit. Don't judge this book by its cover! May not appear to be your traditional sushi House but the food will not disappoint! Arguably one of Spokane's best! Fair priced food. The avocado boat is amazing! Been eating here for years absolutely will continue. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Avocado Boat
This little hole-in-the-wall is a great place to get some delicious sushi in the Valley. I have been here several times and have nothing but praise for the food served here! There’s a bar/patio in the back with a couple of pool tables as well. Interior & exterior could use a cosmetic upgrade, otherwise this restaurant is pretty stellar! Looks can be deceiving with this place on Trent…from the outside I wouldn’t have thought twice about stopping but thankfully to other great reviews we did! It is BY FAR our FAVORITE sushi place between the Valley and Post Falls!! Their sushi is always super fresh, flavorful and just down right fantastic! Highly highly recommend if you’ve not been in!!! We have dined in and done take out multiple times - always excellent! The rolls pictured here are the Shogun (cucumber outside), Dynamite (topped w/ scallops), Ninja (topped with fresh jalapeño), and the Red Dragon! My wife and I went here for our 10 year anniversary. Amazing service. We had the paradise roll and Atlantic roll for specials. Then we tried the 007 and the ninja roll (kinda like rivals). I was surprised that the paradise roll was vegetarian, and it makes a good dessert. Everything we had was amazing, and it will be tempting me everyday during my lunch hour. Looks can be deceiving from the entrance, but the sushi is definitely worth coming for. Recommend the caterpillar roll and the toshi 24. Sashimi left me desiring fresher fish, but you won't get much better anywhere around. Staff was extremely friendly and a great asset to the workplace. The food was delicious! Both the server and kitchen staff communicated well, and they graciously accommodated my food allergies. I had the evening special of Blackened Salmon. We also had orange chicken, wonton soup, and egg flower soup. We had fried ice cream for dessert, which was unexciting and just tasted like the Hershey syrup on the whipped cream (no mango flavor from the ice cream). We were seated quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive. Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
