Not only should Gotlands Museum be visited, but also Surfers. If you are fond of Chinese and Sichuan cuisines, come to this bar. Here you will be able to order perfectly cooked dumplings, tapas and ribs. Try good ice cream. A lot of visitors order delicious wine, beer or gin. Very fast and attentive service from the staff. Vibrant dinning room with people out to have a good night. Easy going based on drinks and many smaller plates. Food okay, but not amazing, but when you are outside the bigger cities be happy when you meet passionate people doing good food

Been to their restaurant in Stockholm and this one in Visby. Both are great restaurants but I think some of the courses were better in Stockholm. Highly recommend the Tofu and Shrimp balls. Worth a visit for sure.

First of all the food is really good, they have a lot of varieties and it’s really authentic Chinese cuisine, though from a price-point of view rather expensive comparing to the ingredients being served. It’s a young and vibrant place to have dinner and it’s very cozy feeling when you enter the restaurant. What draws down the review is that we felt stressed that the servants constantly reminded us that we need to leave because other guests are coming. Very overrated. My boyfriend and I generally like Asian food and love small sharing dishes, but we didn't like anything about this restaurant. We were hoping to try lots of different flavors in this meal but it just felt like the chef forgot to add any flavor at all. The food was bland and just lacking anything interesting. The waitress seemed to agree we had a good mix of dishes but it felt like most of it was just shredded/julienned vegetables with lots of vinegar on... It felt like they wanted the food to be a surprise as the menu wasn't descriptive at all, a lot of "sides" and ingredients on the plates were not mentioned. Probably the worst meal we had during our 2 week holiday.

Overall Great as always, my wife grew up in China and both of us love the food since the first time we tried it. We always return to Surfers whenever we are in Visby. Food We order maybe 6 dishes, rice is ofc included. The only dishes I miss are red braised pork and perhaps a plate of small stir fried clams. And please add more white booze (baijiu) and Chinese beers to the menu. 👍🍻 Atmosphere Nice atmosphere for big and small groups, they also have seats outside. Booking Surfers is popular so make sure to either book your table well in advance, or in worst case go to the restaurant 30-45min before it opens in order to grab one of their "open" slots.

Extremely happy with the whole experience! We were 4 people (myself, partner and my parents) and my parents can not speak swedish which was no issue as our waitress was extremely helpful and explained everything on the menu in depth and gave suggestions! Food was amazing! Easily some of the best asian food I have had since living in Sweden! Atmosphere is cosy yet lively in the sense that there were other groups enjoying the experience as much as we were! Forgot to get the name of the waitress, but her service made the evening even better, extra points there! Would defintely recommend! Surfers is a must when you are in Visby. The food is amazing and they have a selection of fantastic cocktails. The atmosphere, both inside and outside is just so cozy. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
