Beautiful little bar restaurant with a great view of the bay. The food is really good but a little pricey. The extensive selection of tacos include the kinds of street style, and fish tacos in fried or jerked. Our party of seven tried almost all of them and everyone was happy. Stop in on a whim for lunch today...it was wonderful. Met the owner and talked for a few minutes. Quality food. My wife and I had the conch fritters and fresh fish tacos with jerk seasoning. seasoning. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a gorgeous day with good food and good drinks. Perfect. A wonderful local spot in Coral Bay serving ostensibly Mexican, but more realistically pan-island seafood fare, in a relaxed open-air setting. The lobster fritters are particularly delicious. Best place to eat on St. John! The owner was present during our arrival at the hostess station. He seated us,got us drinks, and explained and makes recommendations on the menu. Literally the best chips, guacamole, and tacos I’ve ever had. Be sure to check this place out 🩷 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Of all the places to eat and drink on the island, this was by far our favorite. They are transitioning to Surf Club Cantina, as is their menu, which is on paper this week. Try the langoustino, baby lobster brought in from Scotland and marinated by their chef, Bruce, who has 28 years of culinary experience (and it shows). And OMG, the chocolate and peanut pie, wow!!! Best Painkiller and Bushwhacker drinks on the island so far. Incredible service, and by far the friendliest place on St. John. A MUST STOP if you're visiting, ask for Bruce.

We were in St. John recently and ate at this outdoor open restaurant. We were greeted by the chef, who seated us and answered our questions and shared some suggestions. The restaurant is located right by Coral Bay, so the breezes were refreshing. We really enjoyed our tacos and beverages (beer and Margarita) that we had there. The food was fresh and prepared well. Loved it. We were welcomed by the chef who seated us and gave us menu recommendations. Nice variety and vegetarian options available. Casual atmosphere with view of bay. Looked like the bar is favored by locals- not surprising because the drinks were good and the vibe was warm and friendly. Chips and guacamole were very good. (Chips are from fried flour tortillas which was different from what we are used to and very nice). We had pulled pork and fish street tacos (with jerk seasoning) both were delicious and very generously portioned. Big pieces of delicious fish and slightly sweet slaw on the fish tacos, and sandwich size helpings of well seasoned pork and melted cheese on the pork tacos served with a slightly smoky sweet cause and sour cream on the side. Too full for dessert and we didn’t even order rice and beans sides. Service was quick though we were in no rush. We will go back to try the burgers and peanut butter pie.
