I've never had bingsu before, so was curious to try it. And it was amazing! Not too sweet, just perfect. The portions are quite big. The place is super crowded. Loved the chocolate brownie bingsu! Service Dine in Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Pretty crowded place and fairly noisy, first time here. We ordered the tiramisu Sbing. It is kind of shaved ice but much thinner. Not too sweet but sweet enough. It looks beautiful! Lots of condensed milk, coconut, coffee, ice cream....very yummy. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

I was excited to find out there is one Sulbing near San Francisco. When visiting South Korea, I had this almost everyday. We drove about an hour with all the traffic from San Francisco to taste the pat bing su. Even though, it has lots of bad reviews and as a fan of sulbing, I still decided to go here. We arrive around 7pm and not too full and we are lucky to find a parking. It is true that the parking is a little hard to find and there are some spots that was reserved by other shop for their customers. Again, when visiting Sul Bing for me only 2 choices: signature injeolmi or red bean injeolmi. Sulbing had the best injeolmi pat bing su i had ever had compare to any other pat bing su in South Korea. The reason is the amount of the mung bean powder they provided and the taste of the red bean. In this store, the red bean was less compare to the one in South Korea but luckily, there is an option to add extra red bean and mung bean powder. I really recommend this place and as I read reviews: they stop take order at 9:15pm, weekend is very busy but like most restaurants in sf and sub, they always busy if a popular brand. Decent Korean shaved ice. All the shaved ice are pretty good. Only wish they use ripe mango that are sweet versus the sour ones.

Had a great time here! The food was good, easy to share, and served quickly. I personally like the more traditionally simple and sweet options over the injeolmi since that gets covered in powdered mung bean. Kind of pricy, but it’s a treat and not an everyday purchase. Parking is very difficult (we opted for the side streets).

This bingsoo place has a similar quality compared to their original stores in South Korea. Definitely the best Korean snowflake bingsoo you can get in the SF bay area. I've been to two other similar places, both of whom had very slight fridge smell in the flakes, but this one doesn't have that smell. Also, the amount of food is quite large, and I recommend coming here when you are not too full since they have big portions. Presentation is also nicer than other competitors. We got two flavors for four people, around 20 bucks for each ice. The portion was alright. The ice was on flaky side compared to other shops I’ve tried. The tiramisu ice worth more of the value because it tops with an okay tiramisu cake, three ice cream balls in between on the ice with full cocoa powder and an espresso! The melon ice was a hit for the looking. I’d say it’s fine but the inside is more or less boring mixes of mochi, red bean, corn flakes and milk ice.

Definitely a cute spot that seems like it's packed all the time. I feel like you're here mostly for the look of the food and the toppings, and not so much the bingsuu/icy shaved milk. I would rather go to some other Bingsuu places in the Bay like Mandro Teahouse since. Check this place out and make your own opinion on it. The red bean and strawberry one were the right amount of sweetness, and the tiramisu one was a bit too sweet, but cool that it gave you a shot of espresso with it.

I actually first tried Sulbing in Seoul and it was so good. I really enjoyed the bingsu at this location as well. I've gotten the tiramisu and brownie flavors (see picture) so far. The portions are huge. One order of bingsu is enough for 2 people to share. You order at the machine which is convenient. Make sure to watch the monitors for your number because they don't call out the numbers. The place is spacious, but it gets packed so it may be hard to find a table during peak times. I've tried the blueberry smoothie as well and it was good. It's more on the tart side. I think there's yogurt in it? 📢 PSA: Last call is at 9:15 PM‼️ The self-service payment kiosk will SHUT DOWN right at that time (or shortly after if someone's ordering) and the staff will NOT take your order manually. Updated: I went again with my girlfriends, which I gave full warning that the order might take up to 45 minutes like my original review. Walking in on a busy Friday night and seeing so many people at tables without their orders did not bring us much hope but we decided to commit since we're craving it. We ordered the strawberry bingsu and prayed it'd come by the time we found a table. Wow oh wow is it hard to lock down seating. My friends and I were keen af table vultures swooping in on one we hunted down and mind you, some other group almost tried to swoop it from under us as well. Even grabbing a table is a whole affair 🤦‍♀️ THANKFULLY though, we received our order just a few moments before we secured the table so only about 15 minutes wait 😲 Not sure if our order was easier to make or what, nonetheless we celebrated by savoring the sweet strawberries and the delightful addition of mochi on top and red bean buried in the middle. I'm manifesting more staff hires after this prolonged "soft opening" period because they looked miserably overworked. Original: I'm a big fan of Sulbing in LA so I went here during their soft opening and well...the wait was atrocious. Thankfully though, the quality of the bingsu saved them. I shared the tiramisu with my friend and it was more than enough for the both of us. I believe the tiramisu itself was frozen and then defrosted because it was fairly dense towards the middle. Next time, I plan on asking for extra condensed milk teehee.
