Feb 16 2024, about 1:30. I asked for a pulled pork sandwich, I get a wadded up piece of meat wrapped in wax paper. Besides were correct. The girl serving the sides hardly acknowledge you when spoken to just glares at you. The register I got the same treatment from the person behind the register, no greeting or thank you nothing. Then my food got passed off to somebody else that was entrenched in a conversation and couldn't be bothered bagging my food. Once he finally was done with this conversation with this other employee he hands me the bag doesn't look at me doesn't say thank you or nothing.

Pros: Food was very good, the line moved quick, loved having the sauces on each tables. The 3 meat combo was perfect but the sides blew me away.
Cons: Building is small, not a lot of space in line. Got there before the dinner rush, but noticed a few people leave before ordering because the menu is overwhelming and once you enter the building, you’re pretty much at the front of the line and need to order. Know what you want before you get there.

Three Meat Combo
Now guys…I am not a barbecue girl. I’m a pescatarian, and that usually doesn’t work out. However, my buddy Ace and I went to Sugarfire in Florissant for their opening!
I got the salmon and it was #StLouisPescatarianApproved @stlouispescatarians on instagram. I also got the cream spinach, which was absolutely fabulous. How many dipping sauces makes me happy? All of them.
Sugarfire Smokehouse is special in STL! Chef Mike Johnson's expertise, honed under culinary legends such as Emeril Lagasse, bursts on to the scene in every bite.
From award-winning baby back ribs to tantalizing pulled pork and the city's best beef brisket, Sugarfire's menu has ALL the flavors. Ask the carnivores!
With a string of well-deserved accolades and recognition from The New York Times and Snoop Dogg, Sugarfire Smokehouse is proof of some good ‘que.
Congrats Chef on this new location!

Our 1st visit to this new location. Had our usual, the Meat Daddy. Much better ribs than the downtown location I usually have. Service was super fast. Place was clean.

I had a great experience here first time going. I was a little nervous with how things would go since they just opened and any new restaurant has growing pains when they first open. When I walked in the place was very busy. I was able to get through the line and get my food very fast as busy as they were. Service was great as I made my way through the line. I was able to find a seat and eat in the restaurant. Now for the food....I had the Big Muddy and a side of bbq baked beans. The Big Muddy was excellent and very filling. I loved the combo of the brisket and the sausage together and the white horseradish bbq sauce might be my new favorite sauce ever!! The beans were great too. Not overcooked and mushy. Great consistency and flavor! Highly recommend this place!!

Update, My last time going: We ordered three orders of 8oz brisket. They didn’t come with the normal fat, it was webbed fat all over all three 8oz brisket orders. And it smelled funny. My daughter tried to eat the thick part of the fat, but even that was gross. We go to Sugarfire often, so we know how it’s supposed to be. I’ve never ordered anything but the brisket. We go about 1 or 2 a month, to the one off Olive. The one from the Florissant location was almost like ground up fat brisket. I gave it to my dog because it was after 8pm and they were closed, so I couldn’t take it back.
Y’all! My dog frowned her nose up and I ended up having to throw it all away.
My first time going: It’s a tiny spot. But the people are super nice and the brisket melted……. In my mouth! I was already a fan. I’m just excited they’re now in my neighborhood.
The 8oz brisket and fries is worth the $20, trust me.

I was so excited to go here it's right around for my house. I was gonna order online, but then I figured I was going out anyway. Just ordered it inside. I ordered the 2 meat combo with 2 sides and a drink for 19.99. They charge you two dollars extra for ribs, but when you place your order online, they don't charge you the two dollars. I brought this to the manager's attention, and she said. Oh, I don't know why it does that, but we do, but we do charge a 2.00 fee for ribs. She apologized in a smart way. She walked off. I checked my bag and They only gave me the ribs, not my second meat, which was brisket. I walked over to her and said they only gave me ribs she was like Oh, they're in the same silver bag."" I took the bag out and pulled out the ribs. There was nothing else in the bag. She acts like I was stupid. I know I can see because I drove there. Finally, she was like oh. Let me get your brisket and come back and give it to me. He gave you an extra ounce. She still looking at me like I'm the one with the problem. Horrible service I will never return there.

There was a lead person over meat carving who demonstrated rudeness and shortness towards the female trainee, taking charge of her tasks without regard for her learning experience. As a customer, it was not appreciated to see this behavior directed at someone trying to figure out their role on the frontline. In addition, I had to repeat my order to the cashier, although it was clearly written on the bag. This experience reminded me of the reason why I go to the Olive Street location.

My daughter and I placed our orders and had to repeat them a couple of times. No biggie. Watched the orders being prepped. Got to cashier and had to repeat what we ordered again. Paid over $46 for the two orders then cashier hands us the bag of food and a cup. So far not a bad visit, right ?!
We should have checked the bag. When we got home there was only one order in it plus a bunch of condiments. We called the restaurant and was told to come back and bring the receipt to either get the rest of the order or a refund.
Well now it’s snowing fairly hard and there was no receipt in the bag we were given. Can’t go back since we live a bit away and it’s snowing too hard for me to drive back and we have no receipt anyway to show what we paid for. Not a good start with me.
