The problem with subway isn't their ingredients, it's their assembly. You have to build a sandwich correctly (hence the whole "Sandwich Artist" campaign of the 90s/00s). Now it's just unregulated madness with heavy mayo at the starboard side and bacon just haphazardly thrown into a pile. Assembly is EVERYTHING. Until subway figures this out and finds their roots again, it's just going to be an absolute circus of lettuce and mismanaged sandwich construction. I feel bad for them, chasing the NBA cred and stupid foot long gimmicks. We used to make killer subs there. Now it's just a roadside sideshow slightly better than McDonald's. Ordered a ⁶" sub with chips, two cookies, and a drink around 7:30pm 3/28/23. The guy who was working cut a 12" in half and gave me the burnt piece( SMH ). It was pastrami, and I was expecting to get a scoop of meat. But was shocked when he hand selected 3 pieces. I didn't want to make a fuss, so I got double meat. He seemed to be bothered by this and threw the extra meat wherever it landed. The sandwich was lopsided, and to add salt to the wound, the 2 raspberry cheesecake cookies I ordered were burnt and stale. $19.14 wasted..... Very nice staff the people here are honest and very helpful. One day I lost my wallet and the staff gave it back I had about 3 hundred dollars in there. They could of left me dry. The sandwiches are well made . Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My daughter came into the store with a coupon (buy one footlong, get one free) which was scanned and accepted by a cashier. She did not pay attention to the total and just used my credit card to process the payment. To my surprise, she was charged for 2 footlong sandwiches full price. I called the store and the store manager did not care about this situation ... neither did she apologize. Terrible business practice. DO NOT recommend to shop there!

After waiting in line a half hour - I was told location doesn't take coupons. Certainly wish I knew that before wasting my time. Only one guy was working - so I thought I was being polite by letting him get all the other orders out. Really did not think they would reject the coupon. Certainly won't come back.

Didn't complete my order as instructed. 2 sandwiches, 1 soda & 1 bag of chips $40.00. Only 2 pieces of turkey on sandwich. I was very disappointed! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I decided not to do business with this location. I understand that in the time of covid that extra cleaning takes a toll on businesses, but the unavailability of a bathroom for use by paying customers such as myself is unacceptable and frankly is a healthcode violation in most places...

On Thursday 2.7.19 Mary was my server and she was rude and made it difficult to request what i wanted for lunch. If i request anything extra and yes i know i have to pay extra (no problem with that ) as a customer don't give me attitude about it as if i am having you do extra work. I kept my cool let her finish and in my mind i said to my self they just lost a cusotmer who has been coming to this subway for years. 😌

Usually a huge fan of Subway- but due to my bad experience with the Locust Street Walnut Creek Subway, I will not go there or order from there again. Lest you like bad service & bad attitude, thought I’d warn others. I don’t usually write reviews, but felt the need to do this. They forgot to give delivery driver my soda with my order.. not usually a huge deal, however I was really looking forward to it with my meal. I had my meal delivered bc I had no time to run out to get food/drinks due to my hectic schedule lately. Good thing WC tap water isn’t too bad, I guess. But when I called to tell the store they missed my soda on my order, they became defensive and never did apologize. I was not rude at all, until the person on the phone said there was nothing she could do as it wasn’t her who prepared my order! Wow! I reminded her she represented the company and it wasn’t about blame. She said there was nothing she could do. I said well if I go in to pick up the soda I’d paid for, would she know who I am- then she annoyingly asked my name.I told her, said thanks & hung up. Unfortunately I wasted my $2.50 (for the soda- and even the $17 for the order!) to this Subway who did not deserve my business at all. Be warned, any business which has employees who behave this way is not deserving of your money!
