Ordered the Masala Steak Gatsby yesterday, it didn't disappoint. It was satisfying, flavour packed, saucy, the steak was soft and juicy, even though those so much of chips inside in the Gatsby it was amazing. This one Gatsby was enough for 3/4 people to share. Me and a few colleagues bought here the last few weeks and the food was absolutely delicious. We had most of the Gatsby's that are available and I would recommend them all. The prep time is not bad at all it takes about 20 Min for 2 Gatsby's depending on how many customers are waiting. Store looks clean and staff is very nice. Only bad thing is that their numbers rarely gets answered so pre ordering isn't really an option. So you will need to be there order and do something else while you wait. Wednesday Burger Specials a must. Two burgers with cheese and chips inside are R80 as per pics attached which are huge and really good value. Two normal burgers without cheese and chips are R65. I chose the chicken fillet which are lekker braaied and full of flavour. I have never been disappointed. Thanks to Hussein and team for always delivering excellent customer service. Terrible service and food. Today order number 172 2 x double hotdogs and 1 x small Vienna parcels, 2 x buddy cokes and 1 x happy orange. Total spend of R213. Guess what owners of Steelies Canal Walk we found baby roaches in the food. We go back to the counter and deman dour money back and owners number. Was told owner does not want to give customers his number. Lol I am going to get your license revoked for cleanliness. Damn man someone needs to phone me. One guy was very unfriendly in his own world don't know how to speak to clients his mood will chase your clients away. I wasn't happy with his way of response and the food wasnt up to its standards. I was craving something different and came across Steelies and my oh my was I happy to find them. The chicken burger combo and steak sandwich is absolutely delish! Great service. A very unique spot that adds to the experience. We’re definitely going back for more.

Very disappointed at the store, their food quality is 100% but when you want to call them to place an order the phone is never answered, and when you go the store, its empty but the phones are ringing. Excellent product!!! Very nice store which saved me the trip of going to waterfront. One of the best Gatsby's out there and is a pity they not in the south. Pricing is actually great considering what you get. For those that like to eat a lot go to Steelies!😁
