Out of the many locations, the Lager House is bright and colorful I enjoy all of the State 48 locations. Each one is big, open and has good patio space. The Lager House location on Hayden in Scottsdale is on the traffic circle by the Harley Davidson and GO AZ Motorcycle shops. This makes for more traffic noise but also an interesting bustling car and motorcycle watching spot. Also, not only does it have a large patio, but it is a double story. Pictured food is the pretzels with beer cheese and the beer cheese burger. I figured this would be the place to get good beer cheese! They obviously have beer but also some great cocktails. I can't remember the name, but I always enjoy their gin craft cocktail.

TOP RECOMMENDATION There was nothing that could go wrong with this place. Of late we’ve had bitter experiences at some other places and we thought this would be no different. However, we experienced a top class food, service and ambiance. “Amber”, the waitress at the bar, was excellent in terms of her customer service. She was quick to respond, faster to act and great with her food/ drink recommendations. Furthermore chicken wings were meaty, felt so fresh. Anything on the menu felt as if was done just for us. I want to shoutout another waiter at the place, “David S”, who was too good with his customer service, despite not handling our table. Over all 100/100, top class. I would repeat my visits to this place. Next time when you are around this place, make sure to visit and you will be amazed if you are first time here.

Been going to State 48 for years, as far back as the week of their soft opening. There is a wide beer selection including Belgians, which are not as common, and a number of darker beers, which can also be uncommon as most places' selections are IPA-heavy. They keep the beer menu fresh with seasonals and the quality is always very good to great. Food has always been fantastic and this past football season we've made State 48 our go-to for NFL games as their happy hour is a welcomed break to our wallet. Shout out to Gabey for being a spectacular server. Not only is she great with our kids but I always see her entertaining big groups where everyone is having a blast. Thanks for making State 48 a special place for us!

Looked like a great place but walked in and seemed like no one was in charge at host stand. We sat for 10 minutes and no one came near us. There were numerous people standing around that looked like they worked there but no one came over to greet us or take order. Would have hated to see if they had a rush of people come in. Hoping that someone who runs the restaurant sees this and can fix it. That is large place to not be a little more on top of it.

I’ve been to a lot of the State 48 locations, and this was one of my favorites. Our server, Gabrielle, was great and very attentive. She even recommended me my new favorite brew. The food was great as always. If you are in the area, don’t hesitate to stop by.

I visit with a large group on a weekly basis. The beer is great (the Czech Pilsner especially) and the food has been of a consistently high quality. The service is the real reason that we continue to come back though, especially our regular server, Gabey. She is the best!!!

We’re there nearly every Sunday after our soccer matches. Great food Great beer and most importantly Top Notch service from Gabey. She remembers everyone’s favorites and manages to be friendly and efficient at the same time. She’s a huge reason we continue to go there.

I've been here twice now. First time I just ordered wings and a couple of their flight beers. Both beers were tasty and the wings I decided to try something "different" and ordered the Chipotle hibiscus glazed and they were delicious! Went back the next day and tried their roasted brussel sprouts and the mushroom burger. So far I'm thoroughly impressed about it all including the wonderful service!

This is another State 48 location, but this one is where much of the beer is actually brewed, and the brewing equipment is showcased in a glass "church house" visible from outside and inside. Lots of seating inside, and a large patio outside, and both come with upper level seating, just like some other State 48 locations. Only downside to outside is the traffic noise due to the nearby traffic roundabout. Food is like other State 48 location, so OK. Some great beers on tap, and this location might not run out as early or often as the others out of the popular/experimental stuff. Some of the barrel aged stout was pretty great.

Good food and a wide beer selection but what sets this place apart from the rest is the head server Gaby. Personable and cares about her clients. She remembers the preferences of her repeat customers. Want a neighborhood pub experience. Come here and ask for Gaby.
