Very uncomfortable. As soon as we walked in there were dirty looks across the room because we weren’t dressed like everyone else. Then we get seated and the server wouldn’t even look at us. Proceeded to tell her it was our first time eating there. We felt very unwelcome by her. Now for the food. My fiancé got the waffle platter which is $15. We expected a decent portion but the plate gets to the table and it’s a very sad plate. Very small portions and cold. I ordered the short stack and 2 eggs. My pancakes were over cooked and flavorless and my eggs were cold. Salt and pepper couldn’t even help the taste. I couldn’t even bare to eat the pancakes with all the syrup I tried dumping on there to add flavor. This is the worst experience I’ve had eating in Starkville and maybe even the state of Mississippi itself. We got to the register with $34 written on the ticket which is ridiculous itself and ended up being charge $40.21 for food we didn’t even eat.
