Most spacious place in the town. Quite intimate, elevated seating next to big windows, big sized tables lower down in the centre of restaurant. Place full of good food and books inherited from bookstore. You won't feel cold there in winter 😉. Mainly top-notch pizza, but not only.
As an American that doesn't speak Polish, we call this place the library. It is a quaint and cozy restaurant that serves a variety of Polish favorites, Italian dishes, and pizza. The cheesecakes and cranberry sauce appetizer is a must try while there. The restaurant is lined with books, and the furniture is comfortable enough where I could spend an afternoon picking a book at random and enjoying the coffee or wine. The windows provide a view into the Boleslawiec town square so if you are alone, you can always people watch the passersby. I have been here a few times and haven't had any issues with the food or service. The restaurant is also very affordable. It can get busy into the evenings on weekends but the food is worth the wait. I have never waited more than 20 minutes. Enjoy!

This is a REALLY good restaurant. We were unsure where to go eat and liked it for its clean appearance and it looked busy.
Recommendations: Thai and tomato soups, pulled pork, tagliatelle with chicken/dried tomatoes, carbonara, Caesar's salad:
Drinks: Ksiegnice on tap, mojito, Hardman raspberry and peach beers are fantastic.
For 2 adults, 2 kids we paid PLN 200. Nice friendly, calm waitress A real hidden gem in a not particularly interesting town.

Overall, quite disappointing. The food was extremely average, everything felt like it was straight from a packet or from the freezer. I felt like I could have prepared better at home myself. The main portions were extremely small and left us still feeling hungry afterwards. The quality was similar to that that you'd expect to find on a kids birthday party menu from a bowling alley. There was nothing special about this experience apart from that the interior was nice.
One thing to note is that a lot of people seemed to be coming here for the pizza, so perhaps that is decent, but sadly we didn't order that.

The staff also offered very little service, we sat with empty drinks all around for most of our main meal, nobody asked us how the food was, we were not offered desserts, nor did anyone take away the starter plate.
Sorry for the harsh rating, I don't often leave bad ratings like this, but I just left feeling very disappointed after looking forward to going out for a nice meal.
