I'm disappointed it took me this long to try Stan's. They truly have fantastic donuts. I tried their glazed as well as the sugar donut. Glazed was crispy, but still fluffy. I enjoyed the fluffy sugar donut as well. Line is cramped inside. There were folks seated inside as well. Cash only. I only ordered 3 donuts...there was a bit of back and forth at checkout since they for some reason forgot to add a donut to the order. Excited to be back! Definitely a must visit if you're in the area! Parking is pretty easy to find in the plaza.

It’s slightly crowded at times, but they have the best doughnuts. Also, they’re not a chain brand so this is the one and only place to get the love filled, carefully hand made doughnuts. All the staff were so nice and the doughnuts were only $1.50 each. There are also amazing cinnamon twists. They serve glazed doughnut holes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. This donut place is a local legend. And for a good reason. The donuts are just out if this world: chocolate glaze, maple glaze, any kind you can think of. Always soft inside and melt in your mouth. And if you come early they are still warm right out of the oven. But for the best donuts ever, come on Mondays and get their huge apple fritters or their giant cinnamon twists! You will probably need to share them with a friend or 2! The lines are long on Mondays but the service is always friendly and caring. Not a lot of place to sit unfortunately but if you are lucky or come during non peak times you could sit at the small counter. Watch out though: the place is truly popular and they might sometimes run out of the favorites. So come as early as you possibly can! This place is considered to be the best donut place around town by many. In fact, during one of the wildfire seasons when everyone was advised to stay indoors because of the unhealthy air quality, I still saw a line of people waiting diligently outside with the red skies and visible ash in the air at 5:40am. That's dedication. Btw 6am is a pretty late opening time for a doughnut shop around here. If you come early and get a freshly made, piping hot glazed donut, it makes a big difference. After it's been sitting for awhile, it is not as fluffy and the solidified sugar glaze tastes a little too sweet. I have bought these donuts for folks who thought everything was too sweet but the donut itself was super fresh. I personally think they are fine as I know the sweetness of a Krispy Kreme. I love their banana buttermilk donut because I like banana desserts in general. They have different flavors for different days. The blueberry buttermilk is splendid too! The cake donut is a lot better than most ones I've had. The old-fashioned and cruller are good but not amazing. They also have some donuts of impressive size. The apple fritter and cinnamon twist are very filling. The custard-filled donuts they have only on Mondays and Tuesdays. For the rest of the week, they have creme-filled ones. Everytime I come, I always see one new type of donut I have missed (but usually a very similar variant). They have bar seating but no bathrooms for customers. My all time favorite donut shop, and the only donut shop I know that has a line 30 minutes before opening. Freshest donuts I've ever tried and great customer service. The employees are friendly and fast. Small place, wouldn't say I'd sit and enjoy there because it's usually just a grab and go type feel but the quality of donuts is top of the line.
