Fish soup is absolutely great. That, with excellent site and professional staff - is more than enough to come here.
The restaurant (with large, wooden terrace) at the edge of willow and poplar forest, maybe 20 steps from Sava river.
The only road that passes near is small, and (appart from a few savages), people drive slow and carefully here, and it will not spoil your day, for sure.
Parking lot is quite sufficient.
At summer, it could be difficult getting a table, but I dont really know if they accept reservations.
Besides the fish soup, I had fried catfish (they do it: deep fry, then grill ?! but it comes out quite good). I am a bit suspicous the fish was from frosen (but cannot verify it). It was fresh, tasty and well prepared.
I dont say it would be easy for them to do carcoal grill only, but I would be happy to share with a chef my recepy, where fish chops turn out golden, crispy but soft inside (no eggs, flower, bad oil..). I am sure it would be a hit, on a place like this, where they get fresh fish directly from the river.
Depending on your idea of a good time at such place, you might like live tourbo-folk music that they play. I did't. Nor dirty toilet or price of Leffe.
Still, you really SHOULD grab a hand of your loved one, put kids on shoulders or pets under the arm - and come here for a moment of true beauty and relaxation.
Very large portions, delicious food, cheap prices and friendly staff! The restoraunt is near the river so when the weather is ok, there is a lovely terrace view.
