I grew up on Spatz bread, love making toast and sandwiches with it. I now live in Detroit but whenever I'm in Saginaw, it's always on my list of things to bring home. Swing by a Jack's Meat Market and grab a loaf or two.

Local, independent small business that has been in Saginaw for a seriously long time! The cake doughnuts were delicious and the value was outstanding. A dozen and a half for around $12. No frills set-up but the nicest staff and great product. Really worth your visit and support.
Nice little bakery. The bread is the best. Because it is real home style bread it can mold quickly. But if you keep it in the fridge it will last far longer.

Had not heard about this little bakery, but stopped and am glad we did! Really, really good baked goods! Prices were crazy affordable. If I lived closer, I'd be here all the time!
Today was my first time visiting Spatz Bakery. To sum up my experience…it was wonderful! The night before I was craving muffins and found this beautiful small bakery on my Google maps. I got their around 8:55am, which I suggest you arrive early to get your desired baked good. I was overwhelmed by the fresh yummy smells of baked goods inside. I saw a plethora of cake donuts (cinnamon sugar, glazed, chocolate dipped, & plain), muffins, cupcakes and cookies. I ordered three donuts and one muffin and my order came up to $2 and change. I was shocked but pleased at the low cost with great quality products. Other customers present filled me in that everything were to die for, especially the cupcakes. The workers and customers were so sweet and jolly. So, I will be back and with more family & friends.
Side note: Make sure you have cash or a check because credit/debit cards are not accepted. Thankfully I did have cash.
