Food was over priced for what you got. Upgraded to the tots tasted freezer burnt with too much seasoning on top. One of the wings was bones with breading on it. The ribs super tough and fatty. Very disappointed that the baked beans had no kind of meat in them. You would think being a bbq place they would put brisket or something. Mac and cheese super bland. Had such high hopes. If I could give a million stars I definitely would! This place is absolutely Mouth watering wonderfully delicious! I got the Pit Mac & cheese with brisket the Mac and cheese is rather bland. But with the brisket and bbq sauce it was really good (GET THE BRISKET OHHH MY FOODNESS). My husband got the wett chubby wrap and it was probably the best wrap ever in life, I wish I had gotten that! Overall the atmosphere is perfect for a date or family or anything at all really! The drinks were very yummy as well! The new strawberry cornbread was phenomenal!!

This was a very disappointing and lackluster experience!!! We tried to find a decent bbq place and unfortunately this what we found. I ordered the Mac daddy smashed potatoes and my spouse ordered the famous barbecue sundae. First I tried to order the smoked pear appetizer and they said no bread so they couldn't make it. And then my spouse tried to order the broocli, bacon and Bleu cheese slaw and they said they didn't have any broccoli. That was a little ridiculous but we weren't upset. Now I ordered mine with brisket so I atleast was expecting a whole slice of brisket in it, or 2 for the 20 I spent but I guess not. The Mac and cheese is super bland. And the sundae is super small for 20 as well,but he some how got more brisket in that cup then I got, I know weird right but hey whatever. I do not recommend going here! Highly disappointed! Stopped in for dinner and started with apps but did not order beyond that as the app were not that special. The Mac Daddy Smash had no seasoning on the potatoes or the mac and cheese and pulled pork had no sauce of flavor on the meat it was just flat tasting. We told the wing were great so we order them. They were the size of a quail leg. These were not normal wings and the flavor was not anything to talk about. We decided that we were not going to try anything else here. Love this place. Everything has such good flavor. We had the BBQ Mac and cheese and the ultimate nachos with ground beef. The only complaint was there wasn't much meat on either dish. The BBQ Tacos with Brisket were absolutely delicious! Also got the Banana Pudding - it was a great dessert to cap off a delicious meal. My wife got the Mac & Cheese with Brisket and she says it was so good. And my Mom got the BBQ Chicken sandwich - she planned on just eating half but ended up eating all of it! Oh, and the cheese dip that comes with the pretzels was so, SO good! Get you some! I reached out via email initially to this restaurant requesting options for a company event. I received a very short email back suggesting their payday platter option. I was serving 20 people, so it was recommended I order 5 (each payday platter is supposed to serve 4 people) and that I call or go in a couple days before the event. I went in 3 days before the event with my husband, who is my business partner. The bartender was friendly, but she needed help, so she went to get the manager. He was very short with his answers and seemed bothered to have us there. Our order totaled $450. We scheduled a pick up time of noon three days later. My husband went to pick up the food, which was not ready at the scheduled time. When my husband received the order, he was surprised how little food there was, especially the sides. He asked how there were only 10 pieces of corn bread for 20 people and why there was so little sides for so many people. The manager told him that's what we ordered and walked away. My husband left and called the restaurant to see if there was someone else he could talk to other than the manager. He was told no and that the order was complete. When I saw the order and how little food there was I called and spoke with the manager. He was rude. I told him we needed more sides. He finally agreed to that. I drove back after being told it would be ready in 5 minutes. I waited for 20 minutes with no one speaking to me. The manager was unapologetic and rude. I will never go back to this restaurant. There are far better choices in Traverse City. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The BBQ Sauce was exquisite. My buddy and I had several shots of it over the course of our meal. The water was also excellent, the ice they had really complimented thier tap water. It made a magical blend of a drink. I would also recommend the cheese sauce they had. It paired well with the macaroni and brisket fat. Killer BBQ. Had a pulled pork sandwich. It was fantastic. Tater tots ruled. Mac & Cheese is great. They were out of brisket which seems crazy but what are you gonna do. The brisket no called/no showed. Food was fantastic. Come here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
