I love the place. The people are friendly, the food is great and the atmosphere is very relaxing and enjoyable even though it is a bowling alley. But you don't have to eat in the bowling alley they have a nice bar and a small dining room, Personally I prefer the small dining room because it's mostly private and comfortable. Spare Time Pizza is located inside the Back Mountain Bowling building and serves delicious Sicilian-style pizza. The establishment also makes pizza for the Back Mountain Bowling crowd. We arrived on a Friday night after 7 p.m. and although there were tables open, there was a constant stream of patrons coming in for takeout (even someone who works for the competition!). The dining area was also very clean. We ordered just a regular 12-cut Sicilian pie, but there are also plenty of other choices. Including one of my favorites, General Tso's chicken pizza. The server was very pleasant, and we received our pizza fairly quickly, despite how busy it seemed. Locals will compare it to nearby Pizza Perfect, and although there are many similarities, I believe Spare Time has a sweeter sauce. Give this place a try.
