Great new neighborhood spot! Love the vibes - perfect place to watch a game or grab a quick bite to eat. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable and answered all our questions. We stopped in a few weeks ago for lunch. They were still serving brunch so hubby and I tried a couple of recommendations provided by their Chef. Chef Parker happened to come out of the kitchen at the time we were looking over the menu. He welcomed us and provided some recommendations. We had a Bloody Mary and a bloody Maria along with the most amazing wings! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also shared the taco plate. The brisket tacos were delicious! We can’t wait to go back this Spring. We ate inside but walked outside to check out the outdoor seating. They have a nice rooftop deck with views of downtown.

Have been here a few times they have the best burger in Houston (Texan Burger) great wings and appetizers. Cocktails are also fabulous and for a good price! Staff and managers are always on point and I enjoy watching the Chef work hard in the kitchen through the window! I really wanted to give this place a chance as I've always liked the space (over its many iterations). But wow. Asked for a beer on the menu - no they don't have that one. Or that one... or that other one. Okay. Do the chicken tenders come with gravy or honey mustard? No, only sauce they have is ketchup. Oh, and actually they're out of chicken tenders. Burger was fine, I guess. Then our server (I guess he was the server?) disappeared. Was going to at least order another flat beer to wash down the okay burger. Eh. Definitely will not be back. DJ was the absolutely best bartender we could’ve asked for! It was our first time brunch on a Sunday, and we will definitely be back for more. We had a large group and we had a great time in the outdoor space, playing games, enjoying the food, and the drinks. The Chef checked on us and the food. If the rest of my visits are as good as my first time, this place may become an addiction. The mac and cheese on top of the mac and cheese fries is unbelievable. The french fries themselves are delicious. The cheesesteak was very good. And the Guinness was poured perfectly. If you want bright lights, lots of TV screens, dry overcooked burgers with some kind of “special sauce” (not listed), small piece of greasy chicken fried chicken with lumpy floury white gravy, tasteless chicken wings, flat draft beer, and store packaged salad, inexperienced wait staff and cooks (as we could hear a cook reading directions on how to make gravy) - then this is your place to go. With high hopes of a great neighborhood place to eat at, tonight was a HUGE disappointment. The other reviews obviously picked better nights, but we were the only two customers and the several cars parked on the side must have belonged to employees. Still, with so few customers (2) it would have been conceivable to have had good food. The burger did get comped, a flat draft beer was replaced with a bottle beer, and the chances of either one of us going back here is…NOT! I enjoyed the Po'Boy and the trash can nachos. The atmosphere was relaxed and the people were friendly. I would definitely recommend coming here for food, drinks, and a great view of downtown.
