So I didn’t get my yams and they gave me double corn and this corn is not good at all they could have double the spaghetti they didn’t even ask they just did it. I bet the experience would have been better if it was in person don’t recommend ordering it for DoorDash or Uber eats. The spaghetti and chicken was amazing make me wanna slap my mama, but the corn and Mac n cheese was not what up. Mac n cheese needed more cheese it taste like milk and noodles. The corn has no flavor over cooked and nastiest thing I ever ate.

If I could leave 0 stars I would… my cornbread looked like it was smooshed, fished looked more grilled than blackened..cabbage was very “SWEET”. Yams…. Was absolutely horrible…they looked like they were from last week… and were black … one looked fermented… I don’t recommend eating here anymore, they use to be good but now I don’t know what’s going on.

I used to love eating in here. The ladies behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. The guys...not so much. I also didn't like getting a service charge added on to each dish making it higher than the menu stated. I wonder how many people don't check their charges and don't realize they're unknowingly paying more than they thought. 🤔

I just wanted to express my appreciation for this location!!
Yesterday, I was trying to get in touch with the Winchester location to place a shop lunch for my staff(25), but didn't find out until almost 4 that their system and phones were down from the Hacks Crosslocation. Needless to say, I called the Kirby location (next closest) and the lady who answered the phone was pretty much no help or guidance to getting in touch with the Winchester location. Even asked, is there any way you can relay an order, etc. She told me, no we don't do that. Ok, moving on.
Called back Hacks Cross as advised, having trouble. Ended up placing an order over $600. and even though it was a little extra of a drive, it was well worth it!!!!
Yes, there were a couple of hiccups and waited almost an hour after time, but hey, once again well worth it.
The gentleman (Mr.Manuel) admitted what happened. Left off the tators (didnt realize till doing expenses at closing) they were left off, and the dressing was not ready (as stated above). Just advised if I could get a refund for that, but better yet, he delivered it to the shop when it was ready. Just in time to call the staff to meet up. He also went to the dollar tree to get some plates, etc. Was assuming with catering pick up it would come with that. Noted for next time. All good.
My staff was in so much praise about every single bit of the order. So much that it will be on our rotation monthly lunches we have.
I can go on and on, but please reward this location for all that they do. Talking me out of 2 refunds lol, delivering due to a human goof (no need to express on that). When we order again, I will drive out there again just to have them do it all over again. Lol.
And if your a newbie, please be patient or order ahead of time. They are some hardworking individuals that make that location run. KILLER STAFF!!!!

Great place for southern meals. The staff was friendly and it didn't take long at all to get our food! The meals was hot and plenty of food for the money. Will be back to try another dish! The seating in the inside is limited so don't expect room for big families.

I will NEVER spend my money there again! I ordered two meals, got home and was missing the Salisbury steak. I went into the dump the next day to get my refund, before I could finish explaining what the problem was the manager said, "You didn't get your Salisbury steak did you?" I responded no and told her that I wanted a refund for the one meal that was missing the meat! She refused and got really disrespectful. She got so loud and disrespectful to the point that the cook came up front and asked her to calm down. She continued to be rude and even included another customer in the conversation. I spoke with "Ms. Nikki" from a memphis location. She explained that she knew who I was talking about and she then apologized and assured me that the owner would be calling me. Nobody called!! I have my receipt as a reminder to never go back! I will continue to let everyone that I know not to spend a dime in this customer service lacking establishment!!
Today my husband ordered and went to pick up our food. Not only has the servings decreased, but the mac & cheese on today was beyond watery with little to no cheese and the cabbage was super bland. Get to eating the yams and there is an eye lash up against the right side of the container. I called twice back to back only to get an answering machine both times. I’m highly upset because the phone is obviously turned off due to you all only accepting online and walk-in orders. So i’m confused as to why one option was to press 3 to speak with an associate!
