My long overdue visit to Sook Pastry in Ridgewood NJ didn't disappoint! Pastries were amazing. Had the apple turnover and almond croissant. Buttery, flaky and flavorful. The chocolate bomb was equally impressive. It's no wonder this bakery has such a stellar reputation. Seating was limited, and the coffee honestly could be better, but this place is all about the pastries. Definitely worth the long drive to get here - I will be back! Highly recommended you stop by here too. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

The Thai ice tea is frozen like, it's very refreshing and rich ❣️ Sample purchased a variety of deserts - the peach tart amazing, most favorite, and the chocolate mousse cake was great! The apple tart was alright, but not as awesome as peach along with the napoleon cake. It would have been better with berries inside. The almond and chocolate pastry were rich as well, personally, though the almond option itself was a bit better. This is coming from a direct chocolate fan! It's a pretty busy place, and outside sitting is available. Would definitely come again, and it's a lovely location, too!
This place has become ridiculously expensive. More than Manhattan. And the quality changed. For a filled crepe, coffee and a pastry you spend $30. My favorite pastry used to be The Spring. This time I could tell it was not the same as before. And it looked smaller. Either the pastry chef changed or the recipe but it was definitely different and I don't think I'll get it again. The sitting is tight and there is no special ambiance, so these ridiculous prices are off-putting. Of course, our town is affluent but there's a limit to how much you want to spend if the quality is doing down. Absolutely delicious! Sook is one of the best bakeries I've ever been to. If you are in Ridgewood, NJ, you have to stop here. They make the best hot chocolate and also have Illy coffee. Their pastries are light and not overly sweet. Be sure to get a tart! The peach and pear are amazing! They have sweet and savory crepes that are out of this world. It can get very crowded, but it's worth the wait! They have so many breads and quiche and croissants. Absolutely delicious. Amazing hot chocolate! And a very cute cafe! They also had vegan milk options for coffee. Also would recommend trying their in-house chocolate bars. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The location and the shop as such is great. We wanted to try something savoury I took the spinach ricotta croissant it was underwhelming. Sweet croissants were pretty decent. They had variety of mirror glaze cakes and macaroons. Service is good, they have indoor and outdoor seating for dine in. Just not my type with the savoury bake.
Ambience is good, shop as such is small and cozy. Service is great and quick. A pastry would cost about $8.5-9, the quantity is less. Croissants and macrons are ok. They have a variety of savouries, crepes as well. It’s more of mirror glaze cakes kids there seemed to enjoy. Parking was difficult.

I LOVE the Broad! It's my favorite cake and I got it for my birthday! It has a mix of mango, raspberry, and passion fruit so the cake is light and refreshing with some tartness to cut through the sweetness. They also have many other cakes that are good, most notably the hazelnut chocolate and earl Grey flavors. The atmosphere is also very cute and bustling

I forgot to take a picture of the chicken crepe I had. Chicken smelled. Maybe this place was just meat to be for a bakery only. Coffee wasn’t spectacular. I believe the pastries we had was very decent but that chicken ruined it for us. What a disappointment. It just felt like the chicken wasn’t seasoned with anything. It just felt like eating chicken wrap without any flavors but the thawed chicken taste. I don’t recommend this place for crepe.

5 stars! This is an amazing place. The bubble tea was outstanding, and the éclair was amazing!! This was also the first time I tried an éclair, and I would try it again! The tomato mozzarella sandwich looked good, but I switched meals due to personal food preferences. Can’t wait to come back and try new things!
