We were a group of 3 & sat outside in the historic courtyard. Our waitress was excellent: friendly, patient with us not speaking Portuguese & very informative about all the food. Two of us had The Sarg (Durado,)which was outstanding: fresh, tasty, & although not filleted it was easy off the bones. The 3rd person devoured the Arroz de Tamboril e Marisco (monkfish & seafood dish). We sadly didn't have space to try out any desserts.. I ate here two nights. The first night I had mussels and calamari. Fabulous! The second night I had the beef chop. I like my beef rare but this was on the edge of underdone for me. It was also a bit tough. The staff are friendly and about half speak English, especially one young lady who has it all. Friendly, competent and spoke very good English. Worth a visit.

We ate Saturday evening here outside. Food was very good, we had various Cod (Bacalhau) for starters. I had goat for main course which was tasty and filling. Staff were good and friendly. Only minor thing was I had to ask twice for the bill, as they got busy and seemed to forgot. Otherwise really enjoyed the food. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €20–25

Generally good food and pleasant service, but it’s better next door at Al Murahla, having eaten at both this week. We had to send our steak back because it was over cooked, as did another table. Portions are large, but not quite as large as most restaurants here, so you’ll probably need one each, which given the cost is quite high, makes it a far more expensive option and the quality doesn’t really support it. Polvo at €20 was good, but I’ve had it better for less in Madrid. Goat was good.

Loved the Goat Cheese and steak. Done exactly how I asked for! Service was awesome, and the owner was super kind helping us with a stuck debit card in the ATM. Went morning after to settle my bill and we had a great conversation over coffee. Obrigado amigo mio!

Best restaurant in Ponte de Lima. A hidden jam from the main street beaten track where every dish we ordered was delicious and fresh. The staff was also very attentive to my dietary limitations, as I suffer from IBD and they prepared the dishes especially for us on the spot. Great service, friendly owner and waiters and amazing food where you can feel the balance & taste each individual ingredient. They also paired us with good wine choices. The portions were large and the main dishes came with 3 side dishes! Obrigada 🍷

A really nice restaurant in Ponte de Lima. A very good and kind waitress called Cesaria (they are lucky for having her there, proactive and decided). I’m vegan and they just gave me good options there: Surtido de Legumes na Brasa, Batata Brava and a very tasteful white rice (so the chef was also pretty good and the restaurant is also lucky for having him/her). My meal was amazing and looked very good. It is a pity that I did not take pictures of it. The beer Mahou tasted good as well. Worth trying. I will come back there. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
