When you talk about Phuket, you'll think of exotic beaches and vibrant nightlife. But one of the most interesting place I visited there is the Old Phuket Town. I'm surprised to see there's a Thai-Chinese Peranakan community here. A colorful and vibrant street. Looking forward to visit this place again in the future. Atmosphere: 5

What a place to be. Amazingly beautiful, houses and shops are beautifully maintained. A lot of shopping options, food outlets and so much more. Soi Romanee can be termed as heart of Phuket Old Town. Soi Romanee was once a red-light district for the many Chinese laborers who came to work the tin mines. The name of this soi is intriguing as rommani is an old-fashioned Thai word that has several meanings such as 'beautiful', 'adorable' and 'favorite'. Meal type Lunch Price per person ฿800–900
Very colourful buildings and streets with Portuguese influenced architecture. It’s the perfect place if you’re wanting to get Instagram content. There lots of little street stalls and plenty of good coffee too!

Colorful, beautiful street. It could be a photo zone since the buildings are colorful. I was there twice. Once in vegetarian festival that was so busy and second at night and it was calm. Like the flourish cafe.

A very colorful street perpendicular to Thalang and Dibuk roads. The start of the street has a cafe that is an Instagram hot spot (the wedding Cafe, as it is unofficially known - the pictures give you a better idea). It has sino European architecture, cafes and the road leads to Wat Mongkhon Nimit at its other end.
Rammed with people, noisy, people everywhere taking selfies and photos. My kind of nightmare. Overpriced and a tourist trap. The buildings are quite nice but I did not think anything wow. For me…just way too busy for a Friday morning during raining season.
Beautiful little street where you can grab some food.

This is a cute cafe with mirror frames outside where all people are taking photos. A beautiful place to click pics in Old town Phuket.

The place is quite far from the main area patong/kata. But the experience is really good if you just want to take a stroll around the town. Not many eateries around this place.
