I recently stumbled upon Soho Cafe, nestled near the beginning of the Umhlanga promenade on Marine Drive, and it turned out to be a delightful discovery. This light and airy coffee shop offers an impressive array of all-day breakfast options and an enticing selection of toasted sandwiches. Opting for the chicken and mayo toastie with cheese, I was pleasantly surprised by its deliciousness. The carrot, pineapple, and orange juice complemented the meal perfectly, boasting a refreshing burst of flavours.
What truly stood out was their coffee; it lived up to expectations, delivering a satisfying brew. Soho Cafe has swiftly become my go-to spot for a post-run or post-walk relaxation session along the beautiful Umhlanga promenade. With its inviting atmosphere and delectable offerings, it's undeniably a place worth visiting for both locals and visitors alike.

Very clean minimalistic feel. Healthy food options. Good coffee too. I found the manager/owner/barista to be warmer than the waitress. Definitely a spot worth trying.

Had a lovely breakfast - excellent quality food, well presented, delicious and good sized meals. Freshly squeezed orange juice as well. Not much of an atmosphere or view but there is parking and it is a nice peaceful and private spot - also very short walk to the beach. Would definitely go again as the food was really good - tasted their toasted sourdough sandwiches, wrap, carrot cake, orange juice. Strictly halaal.
