Great place to grab a quick bite to go. Emphasis on the TO GO portion. Gyros are good. If they are an hour or two from closing don’t eat inside, they get upset if they have already cleaned the tables. Service is hit or miss. Sometimes they are nice inside sometimes not so much. Since we’ve moved in the area we’ve been a regular at Smileys. Even supported them during the pandemic when they raised their prices. We have a family of four and usually spend about $50 each time. We ordered a gyro plate and asked for just sauce and meat— we get home (which was 15 min away) we learned our order was incorrect and missing the sauce. Seems minor but when you only wanted meat and sauce it’s kind of the main ingredient that makes a gyro. We called and talked to the girl who took our order and told her that the order was incorrect. She gave us the option to come back in to get the sauce but we declined since again it was a 15 min drive. She put us on hold and then told us there was nothing else they could do after talking to her manager. The very next day, my wife stopped in to talk about the incorrect order. The owner/manager told her that it was her responsibility to check her order to make sure it’s correct then accused her of lying about the missing items. The level of accountability and customer service is poor! The fact that she was accused of lying is super offensive and unfortunately we won’t be returning. Great place I go when I get out of school. 10/10 food. Soup is amazing. Highly recommend this place to anyone that wants good quality food that’s affordable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
