We discovered this place for dinner by ordering grilled fish and fritto misto di mare and it was simply delicious.
There were other dishes at the other tables next to us that looked great, so we decided to come back for lunch to try the pasta and pizza and we are really glad we did.
We recommend this place because of the quality of the food, unmatched by any other place we have tried so far in Srilanka.

Beautiful ambience with the right type of music to go with the mood and the view.
A limited menu but the serving sizes are generous. We ordered the tuna and avocado for starters and grilled seafood platter which would be easily sufficient for 3-4 people.
The seafood platter felt a little undercooked though the shrimps were amazing.
Service was excellent and so were the drinks.
The only negative is the fact that the items are a bit on the pricier side. Would be perfect if the price was 15% - 20% cheaper.

We chose to eat out last night in Kottagoda. We conducted a local Google search and discovered an Italian restaurant around 12 minutes away by automobile. Given that it was our anniversary, we made the occasion memorable. The manager, who was Russian and spoke excellent English, gave us a warm welcome. Personally came to the table with us. With a pool, ocean view lodging, and ocean view dining, the location looked wonderful. So very quiet. Food service didn't take too long. The dish was excellent and was made with real Italian ingredients. We met a member of the staff who is a local and speaks and understands our mother tongue fluently, which was helpful to us because he understood a feature of our society. The manager approached us and engaged us in conversation, making us feel at ease and welcomed. Additionally, she made some additional recommendations for things to do while we are in Sri Lanka. Thank you, team. Maybe we'll come back here sometime. Maintain your good work.

Excellent place for dinner! Started our dinner with an amazing tuna tartare and a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Then decided to try the linguini with spicy crab, and they were outstanding - exquisite taste and perfect preparation. Finished the evening with a chocolate cake accompanied by a cup of aromatic coffee.
Very impressed with the service. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Always there at the right moment, not intrusive, but never forgetting about the guests.
Overall impression: cozy atmosphere, superb cuisine, and friendly staff. I recommend this place for a true gastronomic pleasure!

Beautiful restaurant on the beach with a swimming pool. Excellent service, attention to detail.
I tried the pasta with arriabatta sauce [I switched from penne to spaghetti] and the roasted vegetables with a piece of chocolate cake.
Pasta was very good, not spicy or bold enough for my taste, but still quite delicious. Loved the roasted vegetables, especially the tomatoes. Chocolate cake is more of a large, warmed brownie than cake, but very fudgy and nice!
Complimentary bread and butter arrived at the table as well and was delicious!
Would have liked cloth napkins than paper...feels like that kind of restaurant.
Definitely would return.

Ordered a vegan pumpkin soup that came with cheese on it. Then a fish and chips which I was told was a white fish and was in fact tuna, and was very soggy. Service was kind though, and seating on the sand is a nice touch (if my seat didn’t slowly sink into the sand and tip over!)

Worst dinner we had in Sri Lanka! The reviews must be fake and the place definitely not worth the money.
We had Chicken burger and the patty was overcooked,in some areas I barely managed to chew through it. Also there was fish bone inside burger - how is that even possible ?? It should be chicken!
Also Baked fish with tomato had absolutely no taste, tomato sauce was the only thing that gave it a “taste”.
Also we asked take out the service charge as for 15 min no one came to ask how is our food after multiple hints that we are not satisfied with dinner. They said it is impossible to take off charge as the owner is overseas. Meaning all the profit goes overseas to some rich guy. Finally they did not charge the service and offered us a free cake - hence the reason for 2 stars.
Just please don’t waste your money there, The owner and staff should visit Chill Cafe in Ella where you get delicious burger for literally half the price!

5 star overall. We were pleased with our experience so much that we spent the rest of our holiday eating in this restaurant. The staff is well trained and knows how to serve the guests. Administrator is doing top job of welcoming people and helping them to make a right order.

Had some great pasta here. The staff is very friendly and also the owner takes his time to make a small talk. Nice location (setting at the pool or beach). A bit more pricy than the rest of Sri Lanka, but it was worth it.
Well, to say truly it's a very nice place. A very good location with a beautiful sea view, a very tasty Italian food. Pasta was grate as well as fish, may be because the owner of that place a real Italian guy!!
For Europeans food is not spicy, yes really that is true, not spicy at all 😁
