Terrible service. The cakes are always amazing of course, but I was just in with my puppy for her birthday and the girl who assisted me me and rang me up was incredibly rude. God only knows for what reason, probably a bad day, which is unacceptable in customer service. The girl who held my dog outside while I selected my items was incredibly sweet and kind. The business owner should understand that one staff members’ personality and bad attitude to change the entire business for a customer. Unfortunately, I won’t be going back or recommending this adorable bakery to anyone in or out of town again because of this one experience. I have been a customer for 8+ years.

I’ve had cupcakes here in the past and they were so good! Tonight we got the lemon and the choc Bavarian cream. The lemon was a white on white with a pea size amount of lemon as a filling, so no lemon flavor at all. The cake was great for a white cake. Like the lemon, the choc had a pea size amount of Bavarian cream. I’ll will try once more. I understand having an off day. I read another review with the same issue and hope they take that into consideration and do a little quality control. We went to Lake Havasu to celebrate my birthday and my boyfriend had called ahead to Smallcakes, ordered and had delivered to the room before we even arrived, 12 of the most delicious, moist and satisfying cupcakes I've ever had. Thank you for being a part of my weekend Smallcakes!
