Friendly faces & very good brisket😎👌 nice bark on brisket w/ a mild smoke flavor🇺🇸 the brisket sandwich was a solid 1/2lb+ for $13. Very reasonable for the quality of barbecue.👌🦾🇺🇸 I would definitely recommend stopping by and trying out their brisket! The dining area was very, very clean and the people were very nice😉

It’s a good barbecue even though it doesn’t look like others barbecue in Texas. You pass your order at reception, take a table at the next room and someone will bring your order to you. Brisket and Turkey are tasty. I like their corn and potatoes salad.

Very cute store and the food was delicious. It was nice to have outdoor seating when the weather is nice. The staff was very friendly and the price is fair. Recommend this place if you crave some nice BBQ sandwiches.

This location is a little off the main tourist strip but not far. Good brisket and smoked turkey , the potato salad was decent , mac and cheese was average . Little expensive for bbq though .

Friendly servers, nice, clean dining room. The food was really good. The loaded baked potato with chopped beef was excellent and my husband really liked his brisket. The potato salad was very good, much better than most BBQ places and my husband said the beans were just a notch below my homemade beans and that is a big compliment. It is a fairly small place but the prices are excellent for the quality and quantity of food. It was worth stopping for.

We loved the barbacoa sandwich and brisket tacos that we ordered here. Also liked the ambiance of the outdoor seating area which had good shade against the afternoon sun when we ate!

Wow! What a hidden Gem in plain sight.
There is absolutely no better brisket in Fredericksburg! The smokey flavor is still lingering 15 minutes after I Left from lunch. Yum. Thank you slims bbq for the awesome hospitality and conversation..
And thanks again for bringing real Texas BBQ to Fredericksburg TX ..see y'all again soon

Everything was fantastic. The brisket had a perfect crust and great smoked flavor. The ribs melted in your mouth, and the sausage had an amazing smokey flavor. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The green beans were delicious. The sausage was decently tasty. The brisket was subpar. The bbq sauce was the only saving grace to help balance out the meat dryness. The turkey was dry as hell. Everything was over peppered. The mac and cheese was basically pasta with the subtle-est amount of cheese. To say that this meal was disappointing is an understatement.
That being said, lovely staff. They should bottle and sell the bbq sauce. Tangy and delicious.
