Good food, slightly chilled atmosphere, and slightly chilled service:) Slightly overpriced for the dishes and quantity, however the taste was amazing. Service was a little slow, but may be due to the rush hour and dinner time around the corner. We had to wait for a table of our choice. This place is very breezy with a good view of the Kandy city and the lake. Note they don't take admissions after 11pm and outside drinks are not allowed. They have a billiards table to enjoy, and a good selection of food and beverages. Enjoy sundowner or dinner at this place. By the lunch time really empty place. The food was nice, as well as the staff. Beer overpriced in my point of view, however it was 625 ml. Location was a bit challenging to get up to In our tuktuk, road was a but rough. Inside is nice and clean, bathrooms were spotless. Service was fantastic and food was very good, the best burgers I had in Sri Lanka. My husband's chicken soup could have had more flavor, but had tons of noodles and chicken. Scenic Sunset Spot with Access Challenges This location offers a breathtaking view for sunset enthusiasts. However, the journey is hindered by a difficult-to-find entrance and a challenging, hole-ridden road. The ground floor toilets, though a bit dirty, are accessible. Solo trip. Beer was okay nothing special. Service was decent. First order of food was served hot & looked great but the chicken was pretty much bone and tendons disguised by a crispy batter. I had to send it back and was given plain chicken pieces which was better but was in a black bean sauce which I didn't order. It was very hot and there are no fans on the roof or freestanding! Waiters were attentive. Location was up a steep hill. Music was okay. Alcohol prices a bit expensive. Seemed a popular hangout with tourists and locals but not a place I would return to personally. Great Place for sunset and sundowner drinks. The name speaks for itself. Certainly recommended for a high variety of drinks at a perfect hight for an awesome view on the kandy lake. I stayed in Kandy for quite a bit, and well I really fell in love with that place and ended up there pretty much every night I went out. May it be because of the great music they play there (fantastic band and dj), the very generous selection of (to my surprise) proper international food and drinks or the ABSOLUTELY stunning view from their terrace (the sunset is amazing!). But, for me, in the end of the day it was also because of the beautiful people that are working there. They made every single one of my stays there really special and I felt more than welcomed and cared for like I was family. Thank you guys so much for making my stay in Kandy that beautiful you greatly contributed to that. You can bet you will see me again! 10/10 recomment Fantastic 😙👌🏼 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great evening out as part of our trip to Sri Lanka. It was a special occasion and the service was fantastic. Food was great. I returned after 5 years to Sri Lanka to my favorite restaurant in Kandy. I found the food quality was impressive as usual, but the service was disappointing. The waiter rushed us to order, showing a lack of respect and understanding of proper restaurant service. It seems that many skilled hospitality professionals have left Sri Lanka, leaving restaurants with staff who lack the necessary training and etiquette.
