We ordered a Choma kuku, roast chicken, which comes with ugali, a corn meal staple with tamales like texture, cabbage and a local salsa called kachumbari. The condiments on the side are salt and bird's eye pepper, along with cut lime. The chicken was tender and flavorful even by itself without condiments, but a bit of salt and a tinge of the pepper really opens it up. Nice with a cold beer.
