Sky Lounge Special Mixed Rice
Had fantastic experience at Sky Lounge Gampaha. Participated for birthday suprise in there VIP room which cost Rs.2000 per hour. VIP room capable for around 30 people. When it comes to the larger functions it is worth. But they switch off the AC exactly after one year while we were on the VIP room. That is kind of disappointing.
When it comes to the Food, prices are bit expensive but taste good. Some meals feel not worthy for the price. Specially devil prawns, it cost Ra.3300 for 500g potion.
Staff pretending to be friendly but actually not. They bargain for us to extend VIP booking for another 2 hours.
Softdrinks they serve only for the glasses, even brands like pepsi, 7up they charge Ra.200 per glass which is 1L bottles costs only around Rs.400. Disappointed. Dining room atmosphere quite ok. But window side tables doesn't have fans. Yes when open the windows wind will come in, but Gampaha is crowded town, without fresh air. We were sweating in the noon even we opened the windows.
Also after we ordered they took more than 30 minutes to serve us.
Overall the place is recommended. But wrote the personal real experience we got.

Cheese Koththu
Food is very expensive for the portion. Not that much taste. We got the sea food fried rice and the prawns were very bad taste. There was a cockroach under our table. When we asked them to remove it, the staff was not responsive at all. We went to this place because of the famous YouTuber by trusting his words. Hype is not always better 😉.

A restaurant with good customer service 😍. Prices were so fair. Our served rice plate was not preasented nice bcz their mistake, but was tasty enough. They apologized for it. The only doubt is the limited space. They serve very fast and staff is also freindly. Recommended. 👍

I recently visited Skylounge Restaurant in Gampaga and ordered the 'creamy cheese pasta' in a large portion, which was priced at 2650/-. I was quite disappointed with my experience. The portion size was notably small for the price, and it didn't feel like good value for money.
What added to the frustration was the waiting time. Despite the restaurant having only a few customers when I visited, the food took an unreasonably long time to arrive. This unexpected delay in service certainly impacted my overall dining experience negatively.
To make matters worse, they also added a 389/- service charge, which felt excessive given the issues I encountered. I've attached some pictures of the pasta portion to illustrate my point. While I appreciate the ambiance and potential of Skylounge, I hope that they can improve both portion sizes and service efficiency to provide a more satisfying dining experience to their customers

The place is great and have a nice view too. Not sure about the other food but I had a Mongolian rice and it was very delicious. Service also super nice. Only downside is the price. I feel its a little overpriced.
Update : I visited again two times. Had a Nasigoreng and a Submarine. Nasi good just like the Mongolian Rice. But the submarine could be better.

A family friendly place. Clean atmosphere. Waiting time for food is high, however staff is friendly will support you to get the seats with view. Overall moderately good, however we didn’t order any burger or submarines checking other reviews.
In power cuts, you have to use fire staircase (located outside the building) which is scary to get down from 3rd floor.
