Cosy place, good service and prices! Food could be better: we had 3 different dishes and only Borsch was perfect - with warm bread, speck; rest of two was so so… (baked potatoes with a pork in a saucepan and teriyaki chicken with rise). When back in Daugavpils will give a one more try to have another dishes. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the delicious food and quick service! Everything was just perfect! We ordered Borsh, a chicken burger and a pork shashlik, and everything tasted amazing. We were asked in which order our dishes should be served and the food came out very quickly. The service was on point! The young man who served us was really attentive. The borsh was very meaty and had a special taste but was way bigger than it looked on the picture. The shashlik was the most tender one I've ever tried! We also had 3 beers (delicious) and 2 vodka shots. The portions were really big, and the price was decent for the quality provided. We will definitely come back and try more from the menu! We tried this place twice. First time we came and asked for a menu. They said: if you gonna eat here - I will give you a menu. lol. How can I decide w/o seeing it. Besides, servers were flexing like it's a super cool place or something, and we are not cool enough to be there. That was right after they opened. ... 2nd time we came about a week ago, waiters probably had a meeting with a manager right by the bar. Everyone stop talking and stared at us, like: "why are you here?!". Few long seconds later, finally one guy came over. He told us that kitchen is closed. OK. We ordered two drinks. It was 50 min till closing. Oh my!, at least 3 servers reminded us that "THEY ARE CLOSING SOON". Really?! Why? It doesn't take long to finish one drink. We felt so NOT welcomed, like they wanted to kick us out ASAP. We did not enjoyed our experience at all! Who does that to a guests? Do you tell guests at your house, 3 times: time to leave SOON! ... I still left tips, but not coming back. And BTW waiter did NOT provided itemized receipt to us, no receipt after we paid either. Not sure how much each drink was. Was it the correct amount or not? On Sunday was fully booked. Slow serving due to full restaurant (~more than 1 h till we got food). It would be great if waiters inform guests about waiting time of prefered dish and serve at least ordered snacks/ appetizers faster. Still nice place in Daugavpils to eat. Great service and price. Tried beef burger and ramen the first time went here. Burger came with fries, sauce and black gloves (which I don’t usually see given without additional price). Meat was well prepared and other ingredients were also great. Ramen was also very filling and presented beautifully. Overall the presentation is much better than many places I’ve visited even in Riga, would recommend this place without a doubt! In comparison to the other places in the city I give 4 points. So slooooowwww service. Friday evening - 50 minutes waiting for a "borsh" soup and one full hour for a salad. They need more Staff. The food is tasty, but a bit oily. Prices are fair and the portions are big. They have a lovely garden. Good place to visit overall. (You don't have almost any choice in this city).
