It is much better than the A school galleys I've grown used to. This is a great option if you live on base or are on a ship or sub. Save some money to eat out on the weekends at nice places and go on dates. Don't throw away your paycheck by ordering Uber eats fast food to your barracks door.

Pretty much like any other dining facilities. Sometimes there's something good and sometimes not. You can get a large amount of food for a great price.

Ney award winning galley when I last visited in 1998.
We used to be able to order eggs benedict on the weekends.
I didn't think so much of the Ney thing until I visited Camp LeJeune, last year, where they don't know about such lofty goals.

This was actually a very nice galley. Set up well, very clean plenty of seating. Price was good for lunch and dinner, good serving of food. Food was pretty good. If you're in the barracks or just need a cheap meal on base that's not terribly unhealthy this is a good option. Don't over look it.

Pretty good as far as Galleys go. There is the main line and speed line as well as a salad bar and a dessert cabinet (at least in the E6 and below area). Good selection of juices and sodas as well. Recently they started taking credit cards, so that is a plus since a good chunk of people just don't carry cash. It is good enough that I eat there about one time a month or so when I have a meeting around there.

The place looks great but the food is ok.... its the navy right. But besides that its newly renovated and looks great compared to how it used to be before. All the sides are always great and the variety and prices are amazing but many of they're meats and main dishes are subpar, dont know if its because of the spices or quality of food but its good for qhat the price is.

Entrée portions can somtimes be small some days, I get extra fruits and veggies to balance it out. Burger lunch Wednesdays are the best. Get the canned juice when they have it, it's good.

Cafeteria Style Buffet (Mess Hall) for Military and Civil Service Workers. Bargain under $8 price for all you can eat, soup, salad, main courses, desserts and drinks.A great deal, though taste is sometimes lacking with over cooked foods or instant mix desserts and iceberg lettuce salad bar. But there is ice cream and that's always a good thing.

Attention PEARL HARBOR Admiral.
This facility has gone down hill- In customer service -which is might sad to see - occur as it had been for years -a top quality facility.
Where is "Al...Al..the Sailors pal ?” I was there when RADM K was SUBPAC Admiral, he ensured this great mess hall was a bright and shining key mess hall... to this facility in management by example to all hands.
Retired Veterans (who are visiting facility) are not allowed to eat here under present management.
